I'm bored so just decided to watch anything spontaneous & here I come to My Unicorn Girl. So I start this drama expected nothing & nothing I get in return. If you say this is quite cliché... yes maybe it is. But is that cliché make me bored when watch this drama? No, not really. Do I enjoy my ride watch this drama? You can say so. But nothing special from this drama that can make it stand out too.What I like from this drama, but also in the same time make me bored watch this drama is...
They have no problem. This is one drama that really lack of problem, a really peaceful drama. No love rival, no stupid jealousy, not even when Sang Tian identity as a woman uncovered they make it into bigger problem. So yeah if you look for this type of drama, you'll gonna love this drama.
What a big problem to me is the hockey part of the drama. They make it look so easy to be a professional hockey player. They just do the bare minumum exercise for the player, nothing even when you compare it with Skate Into Love or any other sport related drama.
The character here you can describe as don't judge the book by it's cover. Everyone like has other personality within themselves. Like Meng Na, she is one feminine girl, but turn out she likes to play online games or Coach Ma who we see as tomboy girl but turn out she has girly side when we looked at her house.
How about our main lead...? I quite like them, their chemistry I don't say all over the top, but yeah they quite fit as a couple. Quite like Wen Bing, he quite mischievous but at the same time he really know how to protect the one that he loves.
Overall this is just one drama to spend your days, nothing a miss even you don't watch this....

romance with a lot question
Never expected to like this drama with Yuan Bing Yan in the cast, never too liked her character in Love & Redemption, so yeah I expected none from this drama. But I heard this is a good drama, and seeing the cast with Zheng Ye Cheng & Merxat, here I come.... And quite glad I watch this drama...Never I've expected to see more arogant & improper Princess than Ban Hua (BH) in A Girl Like Me. But here comes Liu Ling (LL), to make what BH did like nothing. LL is like a gun, she is one girl that act first think later. Haha... And the different between that 2 princess quite big for me. BH still in the end think about consequences for her actions at least while she with her man, while LL we can see she really doesn't care much for her action. & sometimes being the FL in drama means no one will talk about your action. Haha
The very questionable plot maybe the ending. It's like everything wrap so quickly and making them have all the holes that need to be filled....
- The ending for Prince Guang Ping (LL's dad) happen so fast it's like make what he did all that time (plan for rebellion) mean nothing. Isn't he has all that time for preparation, but can be defeated that easily...
- All the bad guy like have half baked character building. It's like they put Lu Ming Shan as the bad guy, but he is one stupid guy. Tuo Ba Lie in the end just have his own problem & just fleet the scene. Prince Guang Ping himself...???? I don't know what I want to say about him....
What I like:
+ Yuan Bing Yan is quite fit to play mischievous girl. I really like that curling naughty eyes in her eyes here... Better than seeing her act as stupid 'naive' girl in Love & Redemption.
+ The chemistry between Zheng Ye Cheng & Yuan Bing Yan.
What I don't like:
- Pull - push relationship between LL & Shen Yan (SY). Sometimes quite frustated to LL for playing SY feeling. LL who initiated the relationship, but sometimes also LL is pulling herself from the relationship....
What I want more:
* More screen time or some more background explanation for our Shen Yu & Xu Shi Jin
Overall this is one drama that I quite enjoy & I already can see myself re-watch some scene / episode. But like PeachBlossomGoddess, I also think 8 for the score a little bit overrated so I've to lower it a little bit....

At first when they announce the cast, I titled my eyebrow... Zhao Lu Si and Yang2 together...? What will it become, will they match for each other...? Yeah that time I still doesn't too like Zhao Lu Si, so yeah a little bit meh for me Yang2 can be cast with her. But turn out she deliver much more than I can expected. & Their partner up turn out to be one of the best Yang2 chemistry....What I like:
+ I really like how free spirited Bai Feng Xi (BFX) combine with her brain, make it into one of the most interesting character. Really funny to see how easily her to be fished with food.
+ The chemistry between Yang2 & Zhao Lu Si. Is really a lot better that what I expected. Really like to see BFX & Hei Feng Xi (HFX) flirting with each other in their own way
+ No love rival, no silly misunderstandings, childish behaviour or whatsoever that usually make us rolled our eyes for the stupid trope.
+ Like Wanderer I also almost shipped BFX and Feng Qi Wu together. They friendship sometimes so questionable. Hehe....
+ The mysterious aura Yu Wu Yuan (YWY) has as the bad guy.
The lack:
- Very much forward of the ending. Yeah this maybe get hit by the China new policy of limited episode. So they must finished it by ep 40. So rush ending is the answer... After the war between Ji-zhou and You-Zhou everything just falling apart. They like very much hit fast forward button, it's like from one scene to another have something in the between, instead just the time stamp or jumping scene.
- Many people fate is very questionable. Like what happen in the end with Tianshuang Sect. Don't they supposed to investigate about Yu Wu Yuan or Ten Temple Devils, where is the result...? They just disappear without answer. Or the father of Huang Chao (HC), where is he...? Dead or what...? Why no respond or reaction from him when HC just become princess-husband of Hua Chun Ran.
- The very questionable reason for YWY action. For me it just have not enough reason for what he did....
- One of the most disappoint thing for me is the revealing of BFX real identity as Feng Xi Yun. It just like nothing important. Yeah I know most of us have a feeling BFX must be this princess but still it just like unimportant & usual thing.
The most ridiculous for me sometimes is the fighting scene. Many like it, but for me it just a little bit over the top. Yeah I have to admit their choreographer quite good. But with full fighting scene on the air is just kinda ridiculous... Especially the end fight between BFX, HFX & YWY.
Overall this is one of the most interesting Wuxia drama this year.

Beginning good, middle ok, ending suck
Watch this because intrique by the short scene YouTube fishing me & because Zhao Lu Si and Riley Wang. Long time I hesitate to watch this because of Riley Wang, not a fan of his work, I don't know he just give me sleepy impression when I watch him, his expression for me worse than Hu Yi Tian stone face. Sorry for his fans...Got a warning when I start to watch this, s/he said a bad drama, should have listen. Haha... Cause it turn out I give even worse score than his/her.
Ok. Let's discuss the drama.
The drama at first actually kinda good, I plan to give it around 6-7 score. But the more toward the ending, the messier this drama become. And some weird plot that I can't ignore from the start make this drama even worse and worse....
The weird:
- Ye Shu Wei (SW) just willingly do everything from the beginning. Even considering his relationship with Yu Sheng (YS), it still doesn't make sense that he just willing to do everything.
- Everyone have no clear relationship from the begining. Like:
* Le Tian relationship with Bai Er Duo (ER). Like he just suddenly appear in SW house when they have live streamer & question ER everything.
* Tang Li (TL) and YS have one of the most unclear friendship in dramaland. People in my country called it 'Best friend act like girl/boy friend' or the English term more like friend with benefit. But instead TL make clear about their relationship, what she do just jealous and be a cranky girl if there's a woman who closer to YS.
* Even ER and SW relationship in the end also unclear...
- ER is one of the most have no principal girl. Like when she has to apologize in order to move to SW house, she angry but do it anyway.
- Many scene feel like they cut very roughly. Sometimes 1 scene to another doesn't makes sense. It feel like supposed to be another scene before that, but they decided heh it's not that important let us cut it & just stick next scene...
- The very rush ending. Ugh watch the ending makes me said, Heh!!!! How that happen, what happen, how can we go from here to there....Ugh really like they stick one scene to another, not the match kinda one...
But hey every drama has it's (+) poin. Here it is
The plus:
+ I really like how TL in the end stand up to her relationship with YS. & the regret in YS face really worth to be seen.
+ The 'stupid' decision ER take when she go to Japan. The speech ER give to SW is kinda special too...
Overall well if you are the fans of the actor/ess involved I think you can watch this, but if you just want drama to watch just pick another drama then...

To completed my 2022 Alphabet Drama / Movie Challenge
I've watch this for completed 2022 Alphabet Drama / Movie Challenge for V letter. Hoping to find Japanese version, but as ususal, find J-drama with eng sub is hard as hell. So here I am watching the original Korean version. Turn out this is much more intense & interesting than what I've expected. But once again, they succeed blew my mind...Yeah this drama is thriller & mystery genre. If you hope to find a little bit romance, just get the hell out of here, you're in the wrong drama my friend. For thriller drama this is very successful drama. This drama just keep my heart boil almost all the time, especially very last few eps... Making the 60 min ep drama not that long. Really excited to watch the ending wrap. How are they gonna pull down that giant tyrant...
What I like from short ep drama like this is, they don't waste time for useless stuff. They put together everything that important. I really like how they keep circling in that bigger plot, and not really go outside that plot. In the end everything still connected to that bad guy & their company.
Like Charming92 wrote in their review. What makes me interesting is also the concept of voice profiling. Yeah don't know if that really exists or what, but really interesting to see it on the field & making it as the main key to solving cases. And I also really like our vilain here, yeah his smile also make my skin crawl...
Oh and that BGM also not too annoying. They just perfect. Sometimes for mystery drama they like to put intense BGM & scene in unnecessary scene that turn out to be nothing. Here that's not the case....
Overall if you looking something to make your heart beats faster, your skin crawl, voice can be your choice....

mature youth drama
Finally I've watched mature youth drama. Long time heard about this drama, finally decided to watch this. Really happy I can watch this drama.Really like Chu Li (CL). She is energic, kind, pure but not naive & childish. CL is spoiled where she supposed to & mature enough to handle her problem. CL has her own principle that she hold that make her special & attract people to her. If using Zhou Chuan (ZC) word, yeah she's like sunlight but warm enough like moonlight too. If she is my friend, I can see her as one of the people I'll trust to handle my problem too... I also really like how at the end she handle Liang Chong Lang (director Liang), how mischievous she is....
I also really like ZC, even though sometimes he's quite childish. But he can and will learn how to be better himself, especially if it's about CL. Like how he try to communicate better with her, how he try to understand her & how he throwing his ego & apologize to her when he needed to.... And he can really separate himself with the one that he doesn't like, like with Song Xi. Really like ZC & CL relationship with each other. Yu Shu Xin & Ding Yu Xi chemistry with each other really good. Really funny to see ZC reaction when CL is mad at him...
I also like their second couple, Jiang Yu Cheng (YC) & Gu Bai Zhi. Yeah the old flame haven't died yet. A little bit frustrated at first to see their relationship. & because they're not the main couple so we a little bit have to guess what their actual problem at first, they not just tell us what their problem actually is, but finally they tell us. And yeah they have to fixed the main problem first before decided to continue or not, or the story will gonna repeat itself & yeah it did.... But it got fixed & everything smoothly go sail... Haha...
Really like the brotherhood between YC & ZC. It's like they put the phrase: 'bro before ho' into reality. Like when YC said he like CL, even though ZC quite jealous but he still ask for advice & they still brother like before. Yeah2 I know even we can sense that YC is not that serious with CL. But we sometimes see the writer will gonna write they have clash or overly jealous over that simple stupidity....
This is really one good youth drama. This even has the perfect ending... Looking for something romance, sweet but not too much, this is one drama for you...

Messy but beautiful in the end
At first I never think I'll gonna give this drama this high score. But I really satisfied with the end, so yeah I raise the score.This is one of the most complicated youth drama that I've ever watched. This is not happy go lucky kind of youth drama, this has seperation & sad story to tell. Fell really Hurt when we see Zhang Yuan hold his feeling for He Luo (HL) all that time. But that also because of his own stupidity & if I were HL I didn't know will I ever forgive him & accept him again in my life.
But like every drama, all has it's minus and plus poin....
Plus poin:
+ The relationship between our main lead is too real. How they develop from high school, university until mature age, every though they have like grow with them according to their age.
+ The difference in the cast make up & style to differentiate when they were in high school, university & later on...
+ How in the end Zhao Cheng Jie finally decided to drop his feeling for Tian Xin (TX) & how TX react with it quite real. It's like someone cut the rope that attach themselves with us & our feeling of unwilling to see it finally cut by other party not by us.
+ The anime scene that has similar story with our main lead... I like the drawing of that anime & how they made it into their thing...
Minus Poin:
- Too focus to our main couple, I really regret they not tell us more story about Chan Feng (CF) & Li Yun Wei (YW). From the moment CF suddenly disappeared until how he & YW make up again is never been told. We just got the ending, that they together again & everything is OK for them.
- Again... Why Why Why they have to choose man & woman at age 20 nearly 30 to play high school & university student.... :(. Why not they choose cast at age early 20 to play the role...
- The passing time sometimes unclear how long it's been past. Sometimes yeah they tell us how long it's been going, but sometimes just point blank... Like the time they in the university, suddenly it's already their 3rd year or the moment after HL moved to US, it's just like we just read that 1 year has passed but suddenly it's just 2 year passed...
Overall this is really one meaningful youth drama for us to watch.

what the hell that I've just watched!!!!
What trash that I've just watch!!!! Very confusing story where the story just all over the place!!!!Interested to watch this because of the title, hoping really about how someone planning a break up for couple who need break up.... At first yeah Xinping really do the breaking up couple, but upon more time the way she do it more rude & very messed up. And after meeting Zi Dong & Ma You Bo the story is just out of the track. The synopsis MDL gave, "Youbo’s appearance and sudden courtship changes Xinping’s outlook on love and soon, she falls for him" is just nah.... So out of place...
Not only that... The setting and lighting of this drama is very very dark. Not the dark in gloomy case, but the kind that make me have to put the setting on my screen more bright.
There are Bunch of more interesting & better drama than this one. Choose another one instead of this one. Even if you are the fans of the actor/ess just please choose other better movie or drama....

mistake or not....
Whoa... I don't know watching this now is the right decision for me or not... When I find out about this movie I just so excited to watch, of course because this is the 'oath of love' movie. That's why this movie make me even excited & can't wait for the oath of love to be finished air so I can Binge watch it...When I watch the trailer of oath of love I keep guessing & wondering how fast the relationship bloom actually. But after seeing this movie I really feel their relationship will gonna be quite fast to bloom.... And after seeing our dr. Gu here really can't wait to watch how Xiao Zhan gonna portray dr. Gu in his version.
OK let's talk about the drama itself...
The movie yeah I have to admit this quite fast paced, will gonna be much better even though this is just a movie to have longer duration. Everything happen so fast & so sudden. But dr. Gu attitude himself sometimes make me blush with excitement... I really like how he flirt & treat Lin Zhi Xiao.
Really can't be excited enough to watch the drama version. To see the better explanation about some stuff this movie try to ignore....

Simple sweet love story
Seen this trailer sometimes ago. Quite touch with this simple love story. Finally decided to watch this today...Amaze how partial or complete blind person can learn photograph. Wondering is this true, that partial or blind person can learn photograph, or complete make up story just for the need of create story...? But what ever the answer I really still impress for person that partial blind still don't give up with their condition & still want to study something that we think impossible for blind person.
But for very berry short duration story like this of course they have something lack. What I think they rush it is: the love story. I really hope sometimes in the future we can see the long version of this short movie where they can expand the love story Ahn Soo Young & Seo In Soo.....

What will you do...?
Watch this to help me with the challenge in MDL and the recommendation from kdoramalama. See Zhou Dong Yu who played this so I decided to watch this.Actually never too like this kind of drama. The drama about bullying and very dark setting, that when we watch it we have to squint our eyes or light up our screen... :p. But after all Zhou Dong Yu not disappointed me with her acting.
We sometimes don't too like to watch this kind of story (bullying), because maybe it remind us about our past or it just very unpleasant story to be watched or heard. But really in the reality this is very important story to tell. So it can bring us awareness about bullying.
If you in the Chen Nian (CN) or Liu Bei Shan (BS) shoes, what will you do...? Will you do the same with them...? Is there really someone like the police said, that will do raping just to save his girl/friend...? If that's me... I don't know will I do the same with CN until the very end... At least before police find out the truth. Or after pushing Wei Lai will I just report to police to confess instead just use BS as replacement. Or I just run away from the crime scene and don't confess anything...???
Overall this good movie, but the genre and story simply just not for everyone...

many unrealistic thing
First off all yes it is a boring drama, I've watched several last episode with double speed, want to drop, but I still took interest with the story overall, so double speed it was...The unrealistic thing:
1. This drama demonstrate to us the thin line between hate & love, so thin until we don't notice when that thin line disappear & they just changing direction. Gu Zi Chen (ZC) love for Su Nian Nian (NN) we can see from the beginning, but the changing in NN from hate to love is so weird & so fast. Fortunately Niu Jun Feng & Xing Fei chemistry still quite good.
2. They have the most relaxed university ever. I think they only have 2 classes. Practice & theory teach by Teacher Jiang. Most of the time is only self-study classes.
3. So much power NN has as The Class Monitor, no wonder they gave the title Your Highness, The Class Monitor to this drama. NN responsibility is far beyond the ordinary Class Monitor, it feel really unrealistic.
4. What an angel Ye Xing Yu is. No man is that kind & innocent.
5. The misunderstanding & the amnesia just bored me. That's just like they need a plot to fill the duration time.
Overall this just one drama to spend ur time. If u are a fans of Niu Jun Feng or Xing Fei u may watch this. But nothing too special about this drama.

Drama with two different timelines
This is the first time i watch the 2 season drama with different timeline. Usually just people from modern time travel to ancient time or vice versa, not completly 2 different timelines.Bai lu in here so gracefully, we can really sense her as noble lady. But I a little bit not accustomed to bai lu & allen ren voice in here, so different with their usual / real voice.
My heart really2 hurt to see the love story between Zhou Sheng Chen (SC) & Cui Shi Yi (SY). We know for sure they love each other. But because the stubbornness of SC they can't be together. Ironically i just remember what Lu Si Cheng from Falling Into Your Smile said when he confess his feeling, the main thing is what the use of principle if that make him lose the girl that he love.
This is the first time i really relucant to see the ending because of the sadness & heart broken scene, & this is also the first time we know for sure the ending will gonna be heart broken scene. That's why i have to reduce the point here :(. But fortunatelly they promise us a happy ending in the second season, forever & ever (F&E) & really2 thankfully we don't need to wait for F&E to be air & for us to watch.
Bai lu & Aleen ren really do a very good job here. We can really feel their feeling. We happy & sad & heart broken together with them. Can't wait to watch F&E :)

Just turn off ur brain to watch this drama
1 rule to watch this drama. Turn off your brain from all the ilogical thing that happen in this drama, then you can enjoy the ride... ^_^.Like many people write in here, yeah many ilogical thing happen in this drama. Very cliche & troupe thing happen in rom-com world only. But i really like the ending where both of the couple married & they even can tease the groom :d. That last scene is the reason i take interest with this drama & that's also why i give the rating quite high.
Ok lets talk about the ilogical thing in this drama:
* Like Joyce Chan wrote in her/his review. How come the bride don't know the groom face, can't she search on internet...? It's still makes sense actually, because i believe when people rich, they can hide their face from everyone including internet, because i know in the fact there is some rich people that very good hidding their face, we can't even search their pic in the internet.
* The most ilogical thing is actually also wrote by Joyce Chan too. How come Wen family didn't have any clue about Yuan Si Ya (SY) as a twin. With their influence can't they search troughly before decided her as bride...?! Is yuan family that good they can even hide the truth that SY have twin sister... Come on...
* How come SY can't think when she ran away from her wedding, with her dad personality, that her dad will gonna search for her twin sister, Yuan Yue Yue (YY).
* How come it's so hard to said u are a twin... It's not ur fault to be a twin...
* How selfish actually SY... She promise to show up at certain date, and she still not show up, she still let YY to clean her messed. After that YY can just easily understand SY feeling & still not said the truth to Wen Jin Chen (JC). OMG if that me i can't simply accept that, even if she is my twin sister.
* All the family been resolved in the last episode... Haio... That complicated family problem just solved because the grandpa who want to died not died.
* JC don't go to singapore & decided in the blink of eyes that he will gonna believe YY's heart for him, without remember that he stay away from YY because he think his brother love her... Very fickle & very easy decision to change like that, really just in the blink of eyes in the car...
* Why nobody can say to JC that YY in fact is a twin after they break up because very ridiculous misunderstanding.... Not even Wen Liang Ye (LY) nor Pei Xiu Zhe (XZ)
* XZ tell JC's grandpa without thinking he will implicate YY, he just want revenge to SY. Omg what he think, the one will gonna join the wen family is YY not SY, of course it will gonna implicate YY more than SY. And after find out he just instantly feel terrible.
* Why LY not just let XZ meet with SY. Why he must pretend the boyfriend is not him. What's the benefit for him. If only they can meet once to resolve his feeling toward her isn't it that better...
Actually i think there are many more ilogical thing. But i'll stop write here. The list above is the one that most irritate me.
What i really like:
+ YY don't fall into despiration after break up. She gets up & even open restaurant. Yeah life must go on even after u break up.
+ They show us ups & down of the restaurant
What could be better:
* The reveal of YY as SY twin sister really could be better. It's really like anti dramatic, just like something not important. It's supposed to be one of the most important thing in the drama.
* I want to see their kids in the end :(
Overall this is the drama to be enjoy because it's funny & fluffy . I really enjoy the ride & the opening song is one of the most easy listening song...

something weird
Watching this while waiting the drama that I want to watch to be completed. You can say I find pearl in the ocean drama. This drama quite refreshing & definitely something worth watching for.This drama talk about something that ominous for some people. Coroner, or talking about death. Like in this drama several times talked about, job related to death sometimes is ominous for Asia people.
Although this drama mostly about death & cases surround it, this drama still can bring us funny scene that makes us laugh & a little bit romance between our main and second lead.
What I like:
+ The relationship between the couple. I can't say the chemistry between Su Xiao Tong & Wang Zi Qi is really top notch what so ever, but still ok i guess. What i like is the growth relationship between them and how they trust & dependent toward each other.
+ Jing Yi is a very cunning & funny man, my fav character in this drama.
Ok lets talk about what I think is weird in here:
- Every thing only revolve around Xiao Jin Yu (JY). Everyone seem put their trust 100% with him, & listen to all his plan.
- The way they bring the bad guy to the light is so weird & too fast in my opinion. Much better if he still in the dark & it came out as a surprise for us in the end of the series. Because the bad guy is really someone we never gonna guess I think.
- Duke Cheng try to usurp the throne without soldier at all, just with several bandit that he fools to follow his word & hopping with killing the emperor automatically make him the emperor... OMG one of the worst plot to usurp the throne.
Overall this like I said in the beginning, refreshing & worth watching for. Even with all the weird thing I write I still happy they make this drama & I can watch this.
