There was a break in the schedule last week, with only 2 eps airing. This week it’s back to normal- 4 eps were released.

I’ve re-watched episode 24 a few times. I feel like it’s the end of an arc with Ah Juan’s master leaving. I’m also very happy with the status of the main couple, the secondary couple, & resolution to the conflict between QC & Ah Juan’s father.
There’s so much to love about this low-angst drama, that I know i will re-watch it again and again.

His breakout role was in Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre. It’s a secondary role but he steals every scene he’s in. I came to this drama for him.

I’m back at my happy place with the developments in ep. 24. Looking forward to re-watching it again with the better Eng, subs on Kukan.

Based on scenes in the ending song, it looks like a happy ending. So far, it has not descended into melodrama, and we are at ep. 24.

From the spoilers I’ve read, Maiden Holmes has a very happy ending. It will end next week. Like this drama, Maiden has a ML that is utterly devoted to the FL. It also has a cute secondary couple. No love triangles. You will love it.
The villain in FoE is creepy and hot. Great casting choice. I also like the bleached blonde hair too. Lol

I’m currently watching Qing Qing Zi Jin and Maiden Holmes. Both historical dramas have ML s that are utterly devoted to the heroine from the start, with little to no love triangles. Both have adorable secondary couples. Both are sweet, low-angst-ish. Both have a great supporting cast. Both should put a smile on your face from the start. ^-^
