lmfao you and me both. I watched a weird pieced-together-from-different-clips-and-different-fansubs low-res version (but it was complete, and articulate enough yay!). The lengths I will go to just to watch my favorite little characters............. crazy. I rarely feel the need for second seasons, but this time, I'm begging on my knees.

The actors for this were a stroke of genius by the casting director. I loved the natural, easy quality the whole show had. It's soooooooooooo hard to find, I swear.

I'm gonna lose my mind if I don't get to watch the special eps. I hope someone subs and releases them 😭🙏🏼 I'm on my knees

Imma be honest with y'all, the show doesn't make a whole lot of sense lmao. Every time it switches to the next episode I feel like I have missed like 10 scenes 😅 (I have not. It's just the VERY CONDENSED format). The dialogue is so basic that i can watch without subtitles and understand all of it with my wonky ass bootleg Korean. Am I going through a loooooot of trouble to watch this? Yes. (shout-out to that one billibilli user 🥰) Am I watching for Hak-yeon? Yeah. Is he good? Yeah! Is the potential wasted? YES. What on earth possessed him to accept this project? Idk!!!! Could have kissed another man in a drama with a better script lmao.

I honestly didn't like the writing AT ALL. But the plot/characters are interesting. I have hopes the remake will improve on the original.

They mean he often plays a "good boy" (no pun intended). He obviously has done a variety of roles BUT he's somehow always kind of innocent/pure. Here, you could argue he's finally branching out, as he's a skilled boxer, impulsive and kinda dumb, but he's... sweet. He means well, he's nice, he's sincere. Like you can go through MOST of his filmography and he usually plays a Certified Good Boy.

Lmao I really thought they'd shelved this. If I hear ONE whisper of "~actually☝️🤓, we had to make some changes from the source material regarding the romance" from the creative team... It's on sight.

Doesn't affect the drama. The character suits him quite well so you won't be bothered by his acting I think. I was a little hesitant too, but the show is just very fun, the direction very dynamic, and the story packs a good punch; the short runtime works well too (45 minutes on average) and doesn't let you dwell on the mediocre stuff.

I'm guessing it's to keep the number of episodes "even". If they don't do that recap on the 20th (they just need to fill that slot with SOMETHING), that would mean they'd have to air the last three episodes during the same week--or worse, extend the broadcasting period by a week (messing up their scheduling even more), and air the last episode by itself lol. Do I make sense? lmao
