I fall on the spectrum (not very pronounced but I have some autistic traits). I have the problem with looking people in the eye, especially during conversations when it is expected the most. The main reason is that it is too overwhelming and therefore uncomfortable. I loose my focus and can't follow anymore. So I usually look elsewhere.
Looking at the person I like in an intimate setting is quite different situation. The desire to look and get in all the information the face might offer is stronger than the discomfort it might cause.
However, if we have a serious conversation that requires mental effort and focus, I will not look at the face of the person I like either. It actually caused problems in my previous relationships, when I didn't even know I do this at the time and the other person felt offended that I don't look at him when we are talking. Now I trained myself to look at people more often, or to tell them that I have this quirk and they shouldn't worry, I'm still paying attention.
I still don't understand how k-drama writers think it's possible for a man and woman to be friends while both…
I have plenty, plenty of examples in real life. It is possible, quite often people are just not attracted to each other, but they still like each other as people.
Do people with autism make body gestures like that in real life? I tried watching some videos and read upon it…
here,
"Restricted and repetitive behaviors vary greatly across the autism spectrum. They can include: Repetitive body movements (e.g. rocking, flapping, spinning, running back and forth) Repetitive motions with objects (e.g. spinning wheels, shaking sticks, flipping levers) Staring at lights or spinning objects Ritualistic behaviors (e.g. lining up objects, repeatedly touching objects in a set order) Narrow or extreme interests in specific topics Need for unvarying routine/resistance to change (e.g. same daily schedule, meal menu, clothes, route to school)"
Park Eun Bin <3 I finally have a drama to obsess over :D Surprisingly, people were mostly positive towards her, I expected a lot of resistance and usual kdrama drama at the workplace, but it was pretty chill and her boss is very supportive. Love it!
the storyline seems interesting but even tho ik the reason, I'm unable to watch the female lead act all childish…
I also cannot watch it for this reason and also the directing style in general is really not to my liking. Maybe I'll read the webtoon as suggested, the premise of the story seems interesting.
At first I thought he was his older brother or something. And even after I found out that it was supposedly “younger…
HIY could easily play himself but then it would be harder to sell that she did not recognise him. They should've chosen a different young actor with more of a "baby face"..
I was really confused by the 2 different actors playing ML, to me they look and behave almost nothing alike.
I even thought he had to do plastic surgery because everyone knew his face or something, but then they showed he was cleared of false allegations. Anyway, I'm not happy with he casting choice for the young ML. XD
