I have problems with writing, directing, and acting here. Dialogs make no sense whatsoever, scenes take forever (to cover for no substance and script?), both leads are completely stone faced 90% of the time. There is no romantic build-up and I can't feel chemistry. What is here to expect? And all other characters are annoying in the very least.
I can’t tell if our ML is bi, gay, or straight 😅. But it doesn’t matter, loving the story so far.
it depends on where you define the sexual orientation to be originated from: mind or body. So his body and subconscious might have picked up all the signs of the opposite sex (and if this is the definition, then he is straight) , while his mind just accepted the assumed fact that he fell in love with a man (in this case, probably bi/pan)
Kind of raises the obvious question right? Why is he trying so hard to protect CP when he tried to kill her just…
I think he has his own agenda (probably to avenge his father/master) and for that he needed to get into the palace. I didn't keep track of which people were killed so far, but they probably have something to do with that situation.
I sense this throughout the whole drama and not just Rowoon, so i am guesing this is the vibe the director went…
I actually like this anachronistic and less serious tone a lot. I haven't finished any other historical dramas, because they are either way too serious and angsty and I am not that much into politics, or they are way too much into comedic nonsense and the characters don't feel like real people. Here I feel that it is just the right balance for me.
For people who sstill believe in the (crazy) theory about Ga On being the real PC based on the scar: Ga On was hit by the arrow in the left shoulder in ep3 (we already know it was him in the forest). So it's that fresh scar, not from 10 years ago.
I actually think they did an okay job with casting the actress! Sure, she still looks on the feminine side but…
in the first few episodes the uncle mentioned several times and used it for mocking too. So you can't say nobody noticed, it's just that most people have enough brain and decency not to comment on such things about a crown prince
so I saw something which baffled me ...the released poster on Wikipedia for king's affection made me ponder upon…
I am actually thinking that Hyun's love is not romantic but rather a brotherly one (they are cousins after all). He wants to protect her and care for her, that's all. I don't see him being especially jealous of Ji Woon, just worried maybe.
I was so afraid they would do same shit as Nevertheless did, killing the original in the end. But no, it's perfect adaptation. I can't wait for season 2, and I really hope they expand the last parts, for me the webtoon ending felt a bit rush.
And all other characters are annoying in the very least.
Pass.
