I am tired of drama screenwriters butchering the endings of the original works just for the sake of making something original? The original work goes the way it goes for a damn reason, because there is a logic and because there is a message and because it works. You cannot just swap it with something else, you need an entirely different story then.

Started as a quirky comedy, now it is a full blown serious palace drama, kinda a 180 turn?..

I dropped it earlier, now I am rewatching it for the two main characters and skipping all the toxic drama. And I don't know, I think the writing in this is weird. They don't talk like people do in real life, not talking like people their age.. way too often there are phrases just thrown in without much context, like quotes from somewhere, that's how it feels.

you could try Falling Into You. ML is much younger though, but he is also adorable and relationships and dialogs are beautiful.

Truely happy pill drama, I love them all so much. The characters, the dialogs, the relationship build up. I loved The Day of Becoming You and this is the same writer (and the same FL), no wonder.
This is just so lovely, their friendship, and constant effortless flirting, and falling in love, naturally realising it, and being uncertain what to do... I just sit here and keep smiling, they are absolutely adorable in every scene.

Is the webtoon worth reading?

Chanmi just keeps jumping to conclusions and believing everything she hears, I'm tired of facepalming myself. Girl, the shady manipulative dude who is your main suspect blames your brother without any evidence and you just believe it right away. When has that guy told you any truth?

Not a single boring episode or even moment, everything was so packed, so well executed, I can't think of anything that was wrong and could be done better. Totally unexpected, I almost skipped it.

Don't watch it with your logic cells on, watch it like cartoons, and do not try to nitpick (unless you enjoy things like cinemasins). It is great this way.
I'm sure it is intentionally over the top, not because people who made it are stupid.

There is one drama I can remember where it is reversed. Please don't disturb my studies. I watched only a few episodes but the girl was obsessed with studies, not sure about the boy

I must say, My Calorie Boy has much better advice on weight loss and maintanance, they showed also psychological issues quite well. It definitely wasn't the main theme but it was solid.
