There is always a character in dramas that is the most detestable person in the drama even though he is not the main villain. Cheng Ji Nian easily takes the cake in this drama.

And I am not sure if the writers will pull a trigger on the Ml and the Fl. As clearly there were signs in the first few eps then as the next eps aired it’s like nothing happened. But I can understand the FL just lost her father so she probably isn’t in the mind to date. Then again when I thought that this will probably only have friendship there were again signs of something. Let’s see how it goes.

He is dead so one can feel sad for his character. But a divorce was 100% the right choice for both of them. The situation of other firefighters with family was different from him as mostly all of them introduced in the show were living in the same city but he was living away from his family with no time for his family. Then the accident with his daughter was the nail in the coffin. He was a great man but he didn’t do shit for his family. It was better that they got divorced since Milan wouldn’t have to stay all night thinking about him. And she can be free without any expectations from then on.
