I too loved the 2 badass ladies present in both of the shows. But as usual they pair the ML with a damsel in distress. Still that doesn’t ruins the show for me.

Wang kuan is the GOAT in Chinese screenwriting. Hopefully he works on sword snow stride after Joy of life. But since Joy of life 2 & 3 will air in about a year or so diff . I don’t think we will get sword snow stride before 2025 end or 2026.

I actually also liked the plot and story of this drama. Except for some episodes in the middle in which they go to the snake island if I remember it correctly. I gave it a rating a 7.5. I would have given it a higher rating if the ML didn't got on my nerves with all the time he forgave everyone. And yes Yang Xiao and Zhao Min were the best thing to happen to this drama. I honestly thought that Yang Xiao was a villain when I saw him for the first time. But he came out with a totally diff package. And yes char.. like the ML's in Joy of Life or Sword Snow Stride are the best. Like those cunning characters that are also street smart and intelligent. It is a bonus if they are a good fighter too. Do watch I'm Nobody next. I think u would love it. And yeah regarding the 2 prequels. I haven't seen those.

I have seen 3-4 of Joseph's dramas and I think he plays these sort of stupid/naive yet good at his work sort of roles.

Since you have past those episodes. The final half of the drama is quite good in comparison to the rocky middle half. As the ML only has 1 girl. I think the best parts of the drama are when the ML only had 1 girl beside him. Whenever he had more than 1 girl , then it kind of made me feel sad for the girls.

Didn’t Bai Li Dong Jun had a sad story. Hopefully this doesn’t turns into a sad ending.

I still think they are better off without each other. But in dramas of these sort a calamity occurs to the firefighter after they fight with there loved ones. Hopefully it is not a case.

I just started today’s episode and I was correct. The talk and the mood for yesterday’s ep was definitely leading towards a divorce.

Everyone has got a limit to which they can take things and that accident happened for a reason in yesterday’s ep. Maybe a catalyst.
