The series is great, but I know it started off really slow, so many people probably dropped it early on. There's also a lot of competition, bigger companies are producing GL series with much larger marketing budgets. Unfortunately, those big-budget shows don't always put the same effort into creating quality content. Meanwhile, smaller companies like HeartPop put tremendous effort into producing great shows but don't have much budget left for marketing.

I found Poisonous love less interesting than this drama. It's just my personal taste. I also find the main lead actors in PL are not as good in acting as Memi.

Episode 7 is so good! I have watched it twice (youtube version first and then uncut version). The best GL series so thus. I love Pluto then and I love Player even more now.

I'm no acting expert...I just like seeing her on screen so I have nothing to criticize her. Some actors are very good but I just can't get into them. None of us are present at the filming location to verify her effort but her costars all said she did work very hard.

It's who you know and not what you know. Networking is important if you want your career to progress upward. This is not just for the entertainment world it applies to the real word too.

We can say whatever but she's been doing great and the fact she kept getting role after role means she's profitable for the production house otherwise they wouldn't hire her.

Yes, she's very good. I'm watching all the new GL with new actresses and I have to say Memi seems to at a professional level like she's walking while every other new gl actresses are just learning to crawl...that's the analogy I would use to explain how good she is. Also, the chemistry of ploy and pun are just so AMAZINGLY great!

Most other GL show comment sections are active and flooded except Player and I guess I'm only a few of those who see the value of this WONDERFUL series.

The book has more of Pun's pov but the series will balance out between pun first half and ploy second half...we will see how they manage it out. I'm loving the series so far.

When it comes to love, it doesn’t matter whether you’re the main lead or the second lead. Personally, I think Kim Dohoon is better looking and a stronger actor than Kim Youngdae BUT that’s just my opinion!

The tactic doesn't have to be with the male ML. Many of celebrities that found love on sets are not the ML to ML it's the other way around the ML with the secondary ML or the supporting cast.

That’s your opinion, but the fact is she keeps getting roles with great teams year after year. She clearly knows how to choose good scripts, and it’s obvious she’s bankable that’s why she keeps getting cast so often. I get that you don’t like GYJ, and that’s fine, but there’s really no point in wasting time commenting on her posts unless, deep down, you actually do like her since you keep following her work.

I think Player is slowly gaining more viewers because it’s a good series. If the pacing keeps improving, even more people will eventually tune in. Personally, I believe it will get even better since, according to Memi, about 60–70% of it stays true to the novel. The production quality is excellent—the music, editing, directing, and of course, the great performances from the main cast.

They are missing the laugh. It's very fun show and the chemistry is chemistrying!
