That's because they want high school romance stuffs which this is NOT about and it's not a meaningless romance either it's deeper than the fluffy stuffs. It's relatable love stories.

And if I have to pick which is my favorite it has to be the Lee's family ( Lee Jae Man and Lee Kang Hoon).

For me the stories of both make more sense cuz if they don't have kids this will be just a romance drama...there wouldn't be any scarifies made by the parents if they didn't have kids. I love the parents-kids relationship story the most.

Yes the pressure must be huge and the kids/parents stories make this drama special to me. If they only focus just the adult stuffs then this will be just like 99% of the kdramas out there.

This person was just saying based on the webtoon his character wasn’t supposed to be the main main character but the writer changed a few things for Dooshik’s character. Ofc ZIS is one of main characters and the writer even said he was the first actor casted. I don’t think ZIS cares about screen time so long as he likes the character/project and likes the production team he’ll take it. He even took supporting role in “my dear friends” as that drama was a masterpiece but rejected main roles in projects such as “descendent of the sun” ( he doesn’t want to do meaningless romance again) and “our blues” (he doesn’t want to do the same role as my dear friends again). Yes he’s good at spotting good scripts (both drama/movies) - he’ll grab it when he sees one.

I think he just felt alone prior to meeting his wife. Once he got her and his daughter his life got a purpose and so he's no longer being lost in life in general.
