Getting JSM in was definitely pricey as it should cuz she's a veteran actress and ofc the sunk cost had increased…
It definitely affected the budget cuz her salary is probably 5 to 10x to what rookie actress would get. It was 20 episodes drama so the cost must have been pretty steep. In part 2, almost everyone except Jin Buyeon got very limited outfits. Jinmu got only 1 outfit and Uk got 3 or 4 outfits. Jinmu had a lot of great outfits in part 1. Ofc the CGI wasn't as good as it was in part 1 either and less fighting scenes too. Good thing they were able to hire a few more turtles.
Part 2 had 2 constraints (1) limited budget (2) limited time. Had they got more times the production team would probably can make it better even with the limited budget.
I'm a bit sad that many could see this 2nd part as inferior to the first. But, I looked at it as one big story,…

The reason why their Amortized costs were higher was due to merger and acquisition of "GIL PICTURES" (most likely…
I just need to pass my certification final examination, and then I will apply for job. lol. I really don't know what I want to do, I have been working since I was 14 years old for money. I now wanted to take a break and find out what work I want to do that makes me happy other than money.

there wasn't an article for the no blue ray's not be released it was a fan's question directly to studio dragon on IG with their response of no blue ray will be produced.

The problem is for the people who wanted to buy the blue ray I wouldn't mind buying it. Is it because they don't have enough demand to be profitable or it just internal issue we all don't know? From what I understood about Amortization is that it related to the interest expenses that will be reduced over the life of the borrowed money (aka long term bond/debt). Amortization is related to asset/liability and not with revenue or sale.
While searching for news on The Uncanny Counter2 (One of In-soo's many upcoming projects), I ran across this article…
The reason why their Amortized costs were higher was due to merger and acquisition of "GIL PICTURES" (most likely because they used borrowed money instead of issuing new Studio Dragon's shares) and AoS2 was not the reason. The reason why there wasn't money left for Blue ray in part 2 was because of the budget constraint as most of the funds were already used for part 1.
Awe, make it happen. Them leaving the series was a downgrade for the show. It's likely not true, now that I think…
That could be true. I just wish we get to see a lot of GYJ as this story might be more about the parents generation and less of the children generation. We are talking about super duper A+ listed actor Jo In Sung here.
Mark it as a spoiler, please. But Park Yuri's death was so stupid. Her character didn't even die in the webtoon…
That's weird cuz he role was such a bad ass. I think she's waiting for good offer for movie or something or maybe she just want to relax for sometime. I want her to appear in movies a lot and come back to dramas world.
2023 is a good year with many good dramas that are being pumped out by Netflix and Disney+. And ofc by TVN and JTBC, and other OTT platforms. Looks like public channels are having difficulty competing.
I'd love a spinoff showing Ukyeong chasing the Relic as someone already mentioned in this forum.
