I hope the site airing on TVN won't tone down too much what made s1 such a blast. sadly all the harsh language probably won't be there, unless they give us the *uncensored* scenes on the streaming platform

fair. it's so frustrating rethinking about it. if only those imaginary conversations she has in her head in ep 9 were real, I wouldn't have disliked her so much and stopped caring. i really wonder why the writer decided to make her FL unlikable.

the editing, too. if you see the bts of the kissing scene, the chemistry is there. on the show, it disappears

the timeline was all over the place too. in one episode we have JH saying he was there helping YR overcome her heartbreak, few episode later we find that in that period he was pretty much a recluse and she brought him to light again... there was really no need for the drama to take place in the span of a summer.

i disagree re:the "Main leads doesn't even have single interesting and proper conversation btw them for entire 16 eps". up to episode 6~8 they have a lot of interesting conversation, and they 20 year long friendship is portraited really well. also they talk like almost 40s ... after that, writer forgot about all this. so frustrating

completely agree. but the writer was playing bingo with kdrama cliche, hence the forced drama with the time wasting love triangle...

are we talking about YR? she deserved even more harsh words if you ask me, and that's why them becoming a couple landed flat and nobody is rooting for them to end up together

and JH repeated over and over and over that he wasn't interested and was playing a part on camera. It's funny that the only character that was honest with anyone in this drama, is been attacked for... not deceiving anyone

fast forwarding all the King of Love shenanigans, it took me 20 minutes to watch the 14th episode. that's all i have to say about it.

yeah, he really deserves a better partner, a better friend and someone who cares for him for real...

the KOL part of the show is full makjang. no way a producer responsible of putting a con men on a show, and then disregard the direct orders from her boss would keep her job...

if you watch the promo videos and bts - like the one that aired on My Ugly Duckling last week - actors have great chemistry. the script wasted it.

was she even in love with the guy, tho? she wanted to get married and got peer pressed in accepting the guy proposal... i don't see her being broken heart, more disillusioned.

literal title is "love that will freeze to death" and guess they weren't joking with it.

the last 3~4 episodes: JH: exists JY: 😍 YR: does something stupid JH: to the rescue JY: 😭 yOu 2 HUrT mY feElLIngS! JH: feels guilty, is kind to JY JY: 😍 YR: ☹️ staring from distance. Rinse, repeat.

She did stop taking to him, pushed him away, make it clear she was prioritizing the show, and when the first episode aired didn't bother to reach out to him to explain what really happened. Ofc JH will think she is the one responsable for it.
Ah yes, she was able to find a way to protect a stranger but had no other choise than using his supposed best friend trauma, something she knows how hard affected him, and considering the timeline, the depression he is still fighting, to make a spectacle out of it, without his consent.

She has compassion for anyone but her supposed best friend.

she took the camera to his healing place, instead of asking for his permission. and then, instead of apologizing, tip toed around it. "thank you for being understanding"? what kind of answer is that?
sorry but she, again, put the show above everything and used him. he was right, she really doesn't care for him.

first 6 episodes were well done.

JaeHoon was spot on, she used his past as a "story" for the show, and even worst, his trauma too boost the ratings.if something, he was too kind.
