Excellent acting, music, set, costumes, but terrible story.
The first 20 episodes are thrilling. The next 10 are tolerable. The next five are bearable. The next two are forgivable. But the last two are garbage. The ending sucks terribly.
8.1/10 is too high for this show. The scriptwriter wasted an excellent cast.
Such a let down. It was terrific until the 8th episode. I truly liked it, especially episodes 1 and 7. Superb! It gave me the 11/10 feels. But come episode 9, the last episode, everything went downhill for me, straight into the pit of the oldest and driest well of the town. It's like eating a delicious hard candy with a surprise center —only that the surprise is not chocolate, gum, or mint but broccoli or boiled aubergines.
eh, she is fine. Definitely no worse than a lot of male chinese actors. (strange how it is only ever the female…
That's interesting. Is there a sexist bias in the comments section? That would be a nice study. But the male actors are called out, too, but IDK how much as compared to the female actors. I usually get to read male actors being lauded for their performances.
The FL is the wall that keeps us from liking this drama. She's more dry than Gobi Desert in summer. It's such…
Your poor political view must have confused me for a hater than a critic. It's obvious that your TV is larger than your book case.
Should one just keep quiet when he or she doesn't like what he or she sees? Remember, they are paid because of us. Popular actors should take criticism gracefully and use them to improve their craft. They should not just console themselves with useless positive comments that don't make them grow.
I hope next time you tell your waiter if the food is not good so they can improve themselves and still be in business and not just shut up (and make other people shut up, too) and smile about it and smile deeper when they go bankrupt.
Too overhyped for me, found it too over the top in terms of storyline and acting. Some characters are written…
Dumb. Perfect word to describe the main character, Oh Yoon He, and her daughter. But it amazes me that many people want these dumb characters. It's a massive hit in South Korea and Netflix. It's like Ang Probinsyano of the Philippines (or most dramas of the Philippines... And politicians. Haha). Dumb people get heaps of attention, money, and power.
Just finished the first episode, was super excited to get into this as I love Xu Kai. But, I’m really not feeling…
The FL is the wall that keeps us from liking this drama. She's more dry than Gobi Desert in summer. It's such a shame that Xu Kai:s handsomeness was wasted. To me it's like Go Go Squid. The MLs are super hot but I couldn't get into the story because of the FLs' poor acting skills (and the MLs aren't quite good, too. Sighs.).
Boss&Me had many flaws but because Zhanilla Zhang is a good actress (and really pretty) it made the drama likeable.
I guess having a pretty face isn't everything. Haha
The FL should spend 10 more years in drama school. She's so annoying and ultra lame.
Xu Kai is super handsome. And the other boys, too! The animation is insane! It's really amazing that it made me like e-sports.
Unfortunately, the storyline has heaps of loose ends and the FL exacerbates them with her poor acting and annoying character. 8.7 is a tad too high for its rating. It's more like 6.5 or 6.8.
It is such a beautiful drama that will leave you wowed. I have never cried this way since Scarlet Heart.
A 10/10! Brilliant, beautiful, magical.
Main leads have nice chemistry and their fams are uber sweet.

I recommend it...so far. ☺️

You know what, this can be a good research topic. I'll tell one of my students to look into this. Thanks so much. Hehe
