I just watched the latest episodes, and the cinematography was nicely done. Such effective use of symbolism, silent moments, flashbacks, simple yet poignant dialogue, captions, and music.
My first Pinoy show. I had to check it out after watching so many reels of the leads. Short and sweet, and cringey but in a great way. The devotion of the ML was just so swoony.
I am frustrated with him as well! could he be playing dumb? Do you think he thinks she treats every guy the way…
I don't like that he has this impression of Anong but he seems to think that she is flirty with every guy, not just him. That's why he warned her about giving people the wrong idea. I don't think it is the mom but it could be the brother that is making him not even consider Anong. He's such a typical lakorn male lead - so undecided!
How I wish I could read the novel just to get a sense of what will happen! Ep 6 was progress on the ML’s part but preview for ep 7 looks like our FL will get her heart hurt 😞 our couples are mixed up!
Binged this in 2 days. This is a light, slapstick-funny drama that is well-executed and great acting. The humor can be low-brow but most of the time, the funny scenes were hilarious with great sound effects. I enjoyed the main and most of the side characters too. You can tell that the actors truly got into their characters and most can truly do comedy.
I appreciate that the plot focused on bending gender stereotypes and I love the FL. She's attractive, but she can totally pull off cross-dressing. The ML is hot, and like the FL, the actor was also not afraid to act outrageously when the scenes called for it.
Lots of fan service - great kissing and shirtless guys who clearly have physiques they can show off.
I would recommend this drama for those who don't mind slapstick humor and can enjoy a bit of silliness in the plot.
I lost interest around ep 14 and put this on hold. After reading the recent comments, I guess I will wait for this to completely air before continuing. I want to finish it because of FYL and HO but the recent episodes are not motivating.
Nope, nothing really happened. It's all through the dialogue that the wife was kidnapped by ZM and kept in a ice storage or something like that, whereas Gan was caught at the customs.
Yeah definitely quite a few filler episodes. I found the moms funny but the married couple was too silly for my liking and the way they were so cutesy with each other was too much…
Yeah I was impressed by how well they know each other. Solid couple there! It’s all the product placement- they needed to stretch the story to fit in all the sponsorships :D
I agree - the married couple was too silly for me. I had hoped that when the leads got together, they would focus on our fav couple. TY would be fine. Zhou Mo got his revenge before that Gan guy could do anything
Yeah he’s deliberately being immoral to take the company down. He’s not bad, just bent on revenge. Our second couple progressed to holding hands and spending more alone time together. I got the impression that they are on their way to being a couple, especially after the media caught them having breakfast together. Not much about them in ep 30 though.
Ok then. Here’s the spoiler :D Zhou MO’s GF was XSS who also discovered the loan anomalies like TY did. When she started investigating, the Wei lady CEO sent people to sexually assault her and took pictures and videos as blackmail. So XSS committed suicide in the end. ZM felt extreme guilt because he was not there for XSS. He was so busy with work and he thought that XSS must have felt she had no one to rely on and must have been so desperate. So he started investigating and infiltrated JiuJiang, Wei’s company to take her and it down, along with the Gan guy
