I like the OSTs (opening and ending credits) but they don't match the light comedic tone of the show. The songs keep making me feel that we are going to have a typical xianxia sad ending...Hope not!

LOL - emotional abuse is the perfect way to describe how I felt! Yes, this drama seems like a great palate cleanser before Story of Kunning Palace. Plus the leads are cute and easy on the eyes. Hopefully I will get used to the CGI too :D

Absolutely nothing wrong with a different flavor. I just have to adjust my mindset to take in the more amateur feel plus it's a younger cast, so cannot compare against the seasoned actors from the other shows. I really have to watch at least 1/3 of the show before I can assess properly.
After TTEOM, Starry Love and now watching ETMPB, episode 1 feels a little cartoonish. But I’m really here for Neo Hou so going to keep on. Hopefully the lighter feel continues to a HE.
Started this after Till The End Of the Moon because I am a masochist for angst. Wow, the ML is super sexy. The way he looks at the FL...RAWR... I'm up to ep 33 and have gone through some angst. More to come I am sure!

Yes! This is xianxia in the truest sense, delivering the emotional roller coaster ride that we all expect but dread :D So glad that this drama did not get butchered by the censorship and bad editing!
Binge-watched the last 4 episodes...really really emotional and need time to process. It's been a great watch though and one of the best made xianxias I have watched in long time. Kudos to the entire production team!!! Amazing acting and talent from our leads; I hope they win awards!
Fun episodes 19 & 20 but a lot of contrived scenes and thoughts just to create drama. Luckily I like the chemistry between the main leads enough to continue.
