Ok, I had asked for a strong finish and no dream-like sequence. Well, now I would settle for a dreamlike sequence. I do like the director Chu Yun Bun for his past works and definitely this one too. However his penchant for certain endings š” Overall though, this drama deserves a good rating. It was truly great!
My thoughts exactly! Han has to go back home for his dad's 200th BD and all the ceremony to ascend the throne…
Muyan is probaboly the masked man but I feel that it would be too obvious. The CP is definitely a gray character because on one hand, he has committed to his father that he would prevent the treaty, and on the other hand he is helping Chilan. I still ship them together and hope that Chilan will help turn him around.
I know right! Jun felt guilty because he asked HY to take them to the cave to save Han. I don't know why he felt…
Totally. It's just too bad that none of his friends could talk him out of it, At least Jun Er tried and told him that he didn't have to make that decision.

And MuYan, where the heck is he? Is he really the masked man that is leading them around? How about the Crown Prince and Chilan? Will they manage to go through with the treaty?
THIS!!! š They introduced her into the show super late and expect us to be ok with everyone adapting to her.…
Thatās the thing - she remained the spoiled entitled girl who blamed everybody else and guilted WJ into being responsible for her. Itās not fair and like you said, WJ can still be a good brother to her. He doesnāt have to vow never to marry. Very disappointingā¦

Iām actually not surprised that she blamed everyone else except her father. It fits with her spoiled wilful personality. Iām more disappointed that WJ would do something that is out of character. He may be the worldās nicest guy but he didnāt have to make such a decision.
š I hate the whole development between WenJun and HeYin...it felt so forced and there was no character development at all for HY. And now WJ had to do the whole noble thing out of guilt...Argh, he deserves better!
The amnesia trope was so well done. Like literally it went from tragedy to amnesia to fight and poof! Memory is…
Agree! I was groaning away when the amnesia started but boy, the show did not disappoint...plus the ML's dialogue was swoony "Forgetting the past may be easy but forgetting this love is is difficult" LOL
Watched ep 35 until 39 in one go, and boy, what a roller coaster of emotions. I really like this drama for its pacing. The cliches/tropes that can take up to several episodes in other dramas, do not get dragged out and instead get resolved quickly in this one.
Characters are also well-written, relatable, realistic, and reasonable. Most characters are gray - no one perfectly good or bad, with their own background stories that lend meaning to their decisions and actions.
OST is great with the usual suspects - Sa Ding Ding, Mao Buyi and Liu Yu Ning...
Show, please finish strong and no dream-like sequence that leaves us guessing, OK??!!
Yes! It was so sweet that he took a different route to handle her jealousy. He's trying to gain her trust in him…
Good point about him trying to gain her trust about their relationship and make her feel secure. Agree with you. Happy or sad, I rather have a proper ending instead of an open one. Also no dream like sequence please š
The finale is on saturday .. you still have a lot of timeš¤š¤š¤
True š then I should say I need to catch up to watch the last two episodes with everyone! Ep 38 sounds like there are sweet moments that I want to get to ASAP š
