You're so right...I like the scriptwriting, it doesn't follow the typical cliche where one person immediately gives up everything to be with the other person. This CP both respect and give each other space. Now, as you said, Hong Dou will realize how important Ah Yao is to her, and she will make a conscious choice of what she wants her future to be like.
