I think for CX, the biggest difference between NZ and GNT was
GNT unconditionally supported her, knowing her personality and how she would feel in the future, versus NZ wanting to protect her, but he did not really 100% believe in her, especially when there was no evidence...
Even in episode 32, GNT showed how well he knew CX when he told YuHeng that he was afraid that CX meeting Lawyer Liu was just the beginning of her impulsive actions...
