I still cannot decide who I detest more - the love-brained princess or the vile despicable Wuying. Most likely I will end up pitying the princess and wishing the worst fate for Wuying.
The wish that FSG and YiXiao had for each other - is it foreshadowing??? 😞 The most important thing is for each to have a safe and peaceful life . But not together 😢
On a lighter note, who else thinks that the wolf looks more like a bear?
A warm and calming drama that quietly tugs at your heart. Jung Hae In and Chae Soo Bin’s chemistry felt so natural — you can really see how their connection grows through small moments, shared empathy, and unspoken understanding. It’s the kind of love story that feels real and grounded, not rushed or overdone. That said, it wasn’t a perfect 10 for me. The niece character just didn’t work — both the role and the acting were distracting. And honestly, the unnecessary conflict in the final episode? Totally uncalled for. Why do writers always think a last-minute dose of angst makes things more emotional? Sometimes we just want to stay in the cozy, heart-warming vibe! Still, it’s a lovely, fuzzy watch that leaves you feeling content — definitely one I’d recommend for a quiet evening.
Not that it excuses them at all but I do think that Jingshi is being controlled by poison. He is however also…
I didn't get the impression that it was to get the antidote that was one of his motivation but I could have missed something. It seemed like he was more driven by his desire to get the throne.
Ning Fei is the real brother. The other two are 🤬🤬🤬
Yeah - the preview of tomorrow's episodes show that he will find out more, so let's hope he doesn't disappoint us! Haha - there is definitely something happening between him and the doctor...

That's true - he's truly the one who's oblivious to the evil deeds of those two. I wonder though if he knew what was going on, would he go along with them and betray YiXiao or would he resist and be killed? I guess we will never know :D
For both leads, it’s about how the people you’re supposed to trust—almost like brothers—end up betraying you, even to the point of taking your life.

I was more thinking about how XuYan can easily get him so flustered :D
