I'm feeling kinda conflicted with the comments 🫣 but I'll continue watching and then see what's up.I haven't read the novel, and while it sounds very interesting, I've watched 5 eps and I feel like the pacing is pretty fine with me

Let me start by saying that I love this drama so much. I love my babies, Gyeon U and Seong A. I love my dumb third wheeler, Ji Ho. I love everything about the plot and Bongsu. I REALLY REALLY like it.

But like, I hate EVERYTHING that has to do with Yeomhwa. I think this drama is so good but I don't know what's up with the writers that everything about Yeomhwa is just illogical to me. Sure, she could just be like any other villain in a series who is evil for some valid/non-valid reason but she makes absolute no sense to me. Her backstory, the relationships she has with the other characters, her actions and what she's trying to accomplish. It all just feels... illogical? nonsensical? It not up to par with literally every other aspect of this series, and that's what annoys me the most

We all know she fell in love at first sight but I JUST KNOOOOOOW that he did as well. Okay maybe not first sight but I find it kinda funny that (at least in Ep. 2) he still had his doubts about her but he found her mesmerizing. The main evidence is when she was literally on top of him and he was shocked and shy (and dare I say disappointed when she just leaned in to take the paper roll). But also most of the times he's with her I feel like he's thinking these two things at the same time 1."this girl is weird/intense" and 2."wow this girl is cute af"

On ep 5, the way she clang onto his leg and they went down the slope was adorable

He honestly was looking way too fine throughout the whole episode to pull that sh*t at the end.
