I feel like this should be marked as a spoiler just because not a lot of us have read the webtoon and we don’t…
Oh, im sorry, but i didn't marked it bc it is just about the beggining of the story, both the comic and the drama. I've marked it already, sorry again.

Hi. I think if DH and NB doesnt end up together it just takes a lot of the value and the message out of the webtoon…
As you say it is actually very relatable and force you to go into introspection, even if you havent dealt with an fboy like NaBi, you start thinking about how your relationships with other people go and why they go that way. Also, I think what I love the most about this story is how the narrative defies the stablished expectatives in favor of realism, he will not change for her, he is not lying in sake of her wellness, she isnt naive or getting into his lies blindly, and everything doesnt get solved by meeting a new guy and falling in love. Its very raw in the complexity of it characters, their reasoning, intentions and actions.

I agree with you, she does needs therapy first. But, I think thats the point in the webtoon. I mean, she didn't need to be with Jae Eon after that messy relationship either, but she went with it, having noticed and willingfully ignoring all the red flags, anyway. As for DH we don't know how will their romance go, will he be endgame? Will they last a week? Will they last a few months? Will she be able to overcome it all and get into a healthy relationship? Will he be able to stand by her as he intends to? By the end, NB has started to notice red flags, now in herself - insecurity, jealousy, guilt - caused by those two toxic experiences and her family history, so, now, will she ignore them again, and go with the flow, nevertheless? Or will she face them differently? Thats one hell of an open ending. In one hand, is kind of like in The Graduate, they got what they thought they wanted, but will it work? Can they even make it work? yet, in the other, is an open ending about her growth, did she learn something? Has she broken out of the butterfly girl cycle? Sorry, I think I wrote too much, but this webtoon lives in my heart, haha. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Do ya’ll believe she’s going to end up with the SL like on the webtoon? I read it and was wondering since…
Hi. I think if DH and NB doesnt end up together it just takes a lot of the value and the message out of the webtoon open ending - like, we were left wondering if she will be able to have a healthy relationship after Jae Eon and that asshole ex bf, or it is as he says and she will always go through to the same paths due to the impact and the scars of their toxic time together-. And, If she ends up with JE, it will just not be nevertheless anymore, it would be a whole different story. So, yes, I think they'll go canon.

I looooove how Song Kang portrayed his character as someone super creepy, because Jae Eon was creepy af in the comic. I actually remember how when I started the webtoon, I thought it was a thriller and he was some kind of psycho, like, I was going Its Okay Not to be Okay with the whole butterfly thing.

Why is people so pissed off about the fboy not being endgame? Like, yes, 99% of times trying to get the fboy to be your boyfriend and commit to it is the worst idea ever. Most likely, its not gonna happen. The webtoon deals with how even if two people are attracted to each other, that doesnt mean they're good together, because people conceptions on how romantic relationships work and what they're willing to give can differ.
On So Not Worth it Jun 19, 2021
I guess im not the target audience for this one. It kinda makes me feel old, but im not even that old. It reminds me of a nickelodeon show (Icarly, victorius, zoey 101), but the characters are in their twenties, so the humour could have been a little bit smarter. For real, I don't get the jokes and the laughing track, even if dated, could have been used in the right timing, bc it just makes you feel confused, as if there were something you were missing the whole time. Still, is nice to see foreign/multiethnic representation in korean shows and some of the acting is very good.

I am trying to recall if they even showed them being a couple or enjoying spending time together. JJ needs therapy.…
You're right they could have elaborated on how or why HJ left IH, and how IH and JJ got together, like they could have thrown some scenes here and there. They also could have caved a little into JJ reasoning earlier and slower. But, after ep 14, I think is resentment linked to feel abandoned by HJ and his family. I guess he feels no one is ever by his side, like when he said he hates IH bc she still trust in HJ and is mad bc other people is happy while ignoring him.

After reading your comments, you should prepare for episode 14. Take anything valuable and/or breakable out of…
I already watched it. It was a ride, things happened in ep 14 and it was not the typical break up, I liked how they didn't even hesitate about being together. I also liked how they started to solve some of the arcs early, so the ending may not feel that rushed, the pacing is nice. Did you like it?

I don't think so. He's just kinda revenge dating her and I don't think she loves him either, but she's desperate to make it. Also, girl, the second he raise his hand, you walk away and don't come back.
On So I Married the Anti-Fan Jun 12, 2021
I think its rare to find a romcom thats doesnt start feeling draggy by ep 12-13, but this one just got better towards the end. I really liked it, even if it felt cringe in some scenes, like it adds a little charm to it.
On Because This Is My First Life Jun 9, 2021
This is the drama I can rewatch and binge watch any day, also, if I happen to catch it on tv, I watch the episode to the end. I love it because of that. Like it has intense moments but they are subtle at the same time, and the plot is not overcharged with unnecesary arcs or scenes. It's a light drama, even if its deep.

I don't even know what to say. The FL annoys the crap out of me as of recent with her self righteousness. She's…
I hate, hate, hate how she treats her father. Like, I understand her frustation about growing poor and not knowing things, but still the man worked hard, even with his disability and hardships, and tried to provide for his family, and he obviously cares for them.
On Mad for Each Other Jun 2, 2021
ML is crazy, but he is so wholesome at the same time. When FL grabbed his arm bc she was scared of helmet guy, he didn't say he was going to protect her, but he went for teaching her to protect herself. Also, the whole Samantha arc is so relevant. And that's on that, I'm sold on this.
