Idk, but maybe because last two chapters are the ones that have diverged the most from the manhwa till now. I think is the first time the arcs are completely new, not like slightly based on the source material or directly taken from it, but just new. Also, because chapter 8 killed the hopes of the Seo Jun biased a bit?

It's been a year and a half and I stiil remember the cinematography, stage design and the outfits of this one. The story not so much, but the production was chef kiss.

DO eye acting is so emotion full. The scene when the prince faces the girl after recognizing her is one of my favorite bits of acting ever.
I enjoyed watching this a lot, although the scenes can be kind of slow. I watched in 1.5 and it didn't even feel rushed.

It is too long and kind of repetitive. The plot is basically she getting into trouble, him helping her, she saying thank you, training, dieting, sexual tension scene and repeat. And the side arcs are not that attention catching.

I guess that reviews keep it balanced, because there's also people giving it 10. For me, its an 8, very close to MDL rating. Its one of those shows in which everything is technically great: production, cinematography, design, music. Even acting is mostly nice. But the writing overall is messy, even though it has some very well made scenes and characters. Like, HJP crying in the rain. Still, the writer created one of the most loved characters of the year just to make him suffer beggining to end; the lead couple is difficult to understand and they dont evolve as much as other characters; and all the metaphorical stuff turns into nothing. Its a very nicely made show, but is also highly unsatisfying for many people, like me, who didn't necessarily care that much about Dodal.

Clowned we were when they made us wait one whole week to know why does she like NDS just for it to be "just because". And thats because there are not reasons for that, beyond him being portrayed by NJH. ML is petty, short sighted and insecure from almost the beggining, he was even less so in the first chapter; he could have grown as a character and left those traits behind, but nope. Also, he is unable to comunicate with DM honestly, and almost every scene between them seems awkward, like if they didnt feel totally comfortable with each other. She even hides to cry.



But the biggest mistake is making the most likeable character suffer from first to last chapter, like, why? Is the writer just torturing the audience?

I think the same. And ep 14 showed how different NDS love for SDM is from HJP's. Like DS just tried to block her out of his life when he thought she was with HJP. The latter called her and said, oh, you can still go to DS, don't worry. And thats because he understands and cares about her beyond just wanting to be his boyfriend.

Everyone was complaining about how the writer was playing the character development-through-time skip dirty old trick. But she clowned us all by just using the time skip to give DS money to fund his new sense of style.HJP is a great guy, but, like, if our girl didnt catch a hint of it in three years, maybe they arent meant to be together anyway. I guess its going to be one of those dramas in which there is no way to understand why FL chooses ML over SL. In true A love so beautiful and She was pretty style, im ready to get frustrated.

Its kind of relatable for me, tbh, haha. Been there, done that. Like, you make your assumptions on other people and on yourself, but as you experience new things, you and your perceptions change. We all contradict ourselves over time, its part of growing up and getting old. I read somewhere that we cant become slaves of our past opinions and thats like sooo true.

No one is talking about Sa Ha and Chul San, but I really like their dynamic. The scene where she actually plays the video he made is sooo sweet. Her character development is my favorite.

Did you see the change in his eyes when Do San told him that grandma was going to lose her sight?, like, dude, my feelings. I seriously put 1,5 speed on NDS-SDM in almost every scene but im like TT every time HJP and grandma are together. HJP is the best character, dont even matter if hes endgame or not.

HJP took one day off and in the meantime they sold off their main engineer. Lol. Update: they sold off ALL of their engineers.

People Say Xiaoxi is annoying, but Jiang Chan is one of the most annoying male leads I've ever seen. He acts like Lisa Simpson when Milhouse gets a girlfriend. Like, he doesn't want to be happy with this girl, he just wants to have his full attention and gets pissed everytime she even mentions Bosong.

He doesn't know yet. Im curious about his reaction when he finds out. The way they pick those teasers is almost clickbait, haha, like the one with dosan and dalmi crying in the restaurant.

Fr, I wouldnt really get mad if SDM ends up with NDS, HJP, decides to stay alone, or meets another guy. But, like, I probs would cry if HJP and grandma parted ways again.

When HJP decided to pick his relationship with grandma over his love for SDM my ship got anchored. Also the fact that he kept the shoes.

I hope you enjoy it, I really did end up loving it.

First few episodes I was like, ooook, next thing I knew it was 2 am and I had bingewqtched like 15 episodes. Characters are funny and the romance is very cute and light.

I mean, meh. Like is not THAT bad, but it isn't very good either. I guess the problem is that there are not any really big problems the characters meet, like everything pretty much gets solved very easily and everyone is kind of either doing fine or keeping things to themselves most of the time. Also, I don't really like the characters being so rational (?), is like if there was something missing, In that sense, I find the second ml and the manager refreshing, like, yes, fuck things up and complain. Still, I will finish it anyway.
