What’s the reliable source? They just started filming in July and there’s post production as well as program scheduling. There’s absolutely no way it could be released this year.

What pairing? Leads said they hardly have scenes together.
If filming will end in May for both seasons, they should be close to finish filming Season 1 and they hardly have any scenes together. I don't think their story arc will be anymore important than his story arc with this dad, his business partners, etc. I think the chemistry that will be the most interesting will be Soo Hyun and Yoo Jae Myung who plays his dad.

But they’ve been filming for 4 months already and haven’t filmed much scenes together. And when someone asked about romance, Jo Boah made a zero sign with her hands and Kim Soohyun had to turn to the director for the answer. Their characters are each other’s first love so perhaps the flash back romance scenes are played by teen actors.

There’s a new Korean character chart. Kim Soo Hyun is the only main lead and the rest are supporting. Not sure if that will change as more details emerge.

It's not a romance drama. She's his ex, and it's more of an ensemble drama. So not a "couple".
First off, mydramalist is not the official website. Jo Bo Ah is billed as the female lead meaning she has the biggest female role but according to the latest character chart, only KSH is the true main lead, everyone else works around him. If you think it’s besides the point, what’s so strange about two actors working together? Her character is his first love so there may be younger actors that play their roles in flashback scenes.
