beautiful depiction of mental health!

this was such a great take on depression/PTSD/mental health -- chan going thru suicidal thoughts to being lifed but still plagued by ptsd/regret/guilt was so real. like even though you've "recovered" doesn't mean it still doesnt affect you-- and how mental health isnt just in seasons (start, end), it's not chronological! i loved it. and i loved how this changed my perspective on life -- memento mori -- enjoy every day and live every moment while you can. i love how chan noticed the same in haran; going through her "winter" or depression and did his best to help her. and this was so real and so relatable . feeling like doing nothing -- you don't have to be suicidal to be depressed! what a great take on mental health and a lovely couple that worked through it together.

i gave this 7.5 cuz wHY TF did chan leave fore a whole year?? like this does NOT make sense.. and haran not even hearing him out??? idk why kdramas ALWAYS do the "missing for a year" trope at the last episode>??? hello? also side note, I LOVEEEEE HAYEONG/JIHYUN. ugh. her acting is so cutie and i really wish i could embody her character irl. ive loved her sm ; shes so pretty and her enthusiasm is great. i hated that the secretary guy was so bland tho. like his acting was balls and he actually was not attractive at all in my opinion... lol. also i thought i would've loved hadam's relationship, but the miscommunication trope and mistrust was NOT it for me. I LOVEE how all the 3 sisters had couples (+ the grandma) but i with they extrapolated on that more. and ugh. idk . JIHYUN STOLE THIS SHOW FOR ME THO!! 100% started watching because of her.

this was ok. i love love loved the cinematography the most!!!! the pacing/writing/scenes etc seemed so leveled up from other cdramas that are typically just "flat"...

i do indeed love a chalant pursuit of love and zhang ling he does it amazingly UGH. so many cute moments and him obsessing ... LOVE IT. also LOVED the fuckass toxic ex plotline... makes everything more dramatic and lowkey fun + puts a pain on my heart that feels good?? he literally helped her out of a toxic/abusive relationship...

HER FRIENDS ARE THE BEST. 1. the best girl friend so good for smacking her in the head for ignoring ML and telling her her ex is shit. also telling ML that FL still cares for him. love her. 2. the guy friend MUAH. lowkey he is more my type than ML. so cute, sweet, supportive. gives girl dad vibes and so comforting.

overall this was a green flag show and cute! i usually hate the dramas after they become a couple but i think they did it pretty well and still made their realtionship interesting afterwards. the doctor x patient plot was erm kinda weird for me cuz... is this not a HIPAA violation or smth. anyways..

chemistry was good. but story was kinda boring and 28 episodes is way too long bruh. i think cdramas must shorten these bruh

super cutie—internal growth!

loved the storyline of baby blue growing!! her internal confidence struggles were so realistic. and struggles with family. but being able to have her own little space outside of everything that helped her grow was so sweet. gijeong also was so lovely — pure depiction of first puppy love. and i loved how baby blue didn’t have to change herself at all and still was loved so much. LOVED the side romances. khaki rip i wanted to see who he dated cuz unfortunately black is completely out of his league and age group. and LOVED mint and blue obvi. ugh how cuz he’s so down bad for her. and then SERA AND THE FRIENDDDD. bruh why did she have to leave to fucking germany. they were so cute. so much chemistry with no screen time hello??? but overall very feel good and fluffy!

!!!!! LET ME START WITH CHEMISTRY. holy cow… the angst went CRAZYYY the slow burn was to die for. the JEALOUSY. wenxuan’s “ill support u always” treatment to li rong. WTF. this was crazy. wenxuan was SO secure attachment (slightly anxious) meets anxious avoidant :,) i loved the character development & how wenxuan helped li rong feel so secure within romantic relationships after being betrayed… HOW CUTE. ugh and their couple scenes had me drooling bro like the banter was there and the teasing . so good and i was floored. ofc wenxuan was hot too and the FL hella good acting - very surpised about that after seeing her other dramas!!

i loved the concept of a refresh and trying to fix everything. i loved how everyone had their soulmate they were meant to be with and persist!!! and how loose ends were tied(ish). ugh and LI RONG as an ACTUAL badass FL (not a “omg i’m so girlboss but i rely on my ML for everything” type). she literally commanded wenxuan and her army and the court. what a woman!!!! also court scenes and political scenes i usually can’t follow and don’t understand but this one was good!!! i understood the schemes

but oh my god. su rongqing GOT ON MY NERVEEES. AND WHY WAS LI RONG SO NICE TO HIM??? AFTER HE RUINED EBERYTHING?? HIS DEATH WAS SO SWEET??? LIKE BRO… HE WAS DELUSIONAL AND STUPID. and you COULDNT set his head right??? that was the worst part of this drama bro. i can’t.

BRUHHHHHH!!!! this drama was hella good but the last few episodes had me BAWLING. ugh i learned sm about firefighters and MY HEART BROOOOO. they sacrifice so much.... BUT FUCKING LIN LIUXIAO IS SOOOOO HOT. i love him so much. his arms. his firefighting. UGH. and ofc my girl zhang jingyi- i started watching this just for her. BROOOOOO LIKE i wish this drama wasn't realisitc and nobody died/got hurt and they could actually date in peace... but why was it so realistic like please ... i just want4ed cute moments.

also , the main couple was rly cute ttogether but like WHERE WAS THE INITIATION??? like I wish the firefighting show went wayyyy longer so we could see exactly why and how they ended up getting together. i also wish there were more scenes of them flirting before they dated.... like that was only the first like 1/4 of the whole show--wouldve been much better if it spanned more throughout. ughhh their careers ugghhhh why does he have to be a firefighter.

YAY i finished. this was a cutesy drama- i loved the character development in all the aunts and characters at the end. loved the independent and smart FL, my FAVV!! she can hold up her own fort and family and i LOVE her for that. hyt also very hot. but emperor was so annoying… like using him. hello just finished this drama! it was very bingeable and cute! loved nana in this i felt like i could really relate to her character. i loved how she was chasing cupid so cute teeeheheh. and her quirkiness. the inevitable murder mystery case made it so annoying tho😣😣😣😣i hate murder stuff in a rom com and WHY THE HELL DID HE NIT GET CAUGHT. like it’s not that hard. how did they not catch him when he got in the prison… bro had my anxious as fuck. but yeah. cute couple (kinda) i saw the chemistry a little bit when they’re like fooling around but other than that it got a little awk in some scenes. idk. some gaps in the story too like what is that little stone thing sanghyuk had?? and did he know that all 3 girls were the same person?? like didn’t make that much sense…. ok. but done. average drama i think
