this was okay. the whole plot with the spells should’ve been more capitalized off of. only used in the beginning then basically forgotten about. didn’t feed into the fantasy aspect as much as i hoped it did. BUT rowoon and his puppy personality. omg and how he like chases after the FL 😭😭😭THAT MADE THE DRAMA. ugh he’s actually so cute and i can see how much his acting has improved since extraordinary you (well in that one he literally was a 2d character and showed no emotion or anything so…) i loveeeed his personality in this so much. i love the he falls first but doesn’t want to trope. ugh and how he was obsessed with her. need. but other than that the rest was meh. everything pretty predictable, cliche “oh i knew u in my past life” and “oh we r destined to be together” stuff. so nothing exceptional. WOW!!! YAY!! This is over omg. The beginning eps of this had me HOOKED holy jee. The enduring plot, the plot twist of heejoo being able to talk, WOWOWOWOWO!!! Omg and the TENSIONNNN AND YEARNINGGGG!! Much needed… esp over the phone & sa eon flirting. I LOVED IT. COLD GUYS W WARM HEARTS>>>>!! Omg these two went through it … my lord. the first half of the show i liked better. but then the whole murderer shit was batshit crazy. like HOW COULD U LET HIM GET AWAY WITH ALL OF THAY. and i don’t understand the president dad guy letting him out. and like UGH! how does he keep getting free. the mom is FOUL!!! but i love how each of the enemies all have a morally gray backstory that made them into the monsters they are currently… my golly. but awesome story!!

!!!!! LET ME START WITH CHEMISTRY. holy cow… the angst went CRAZYYY the slow burn was to die for. the JEALOUSY. wenxuan’s “ill support u always” treatment to li rong. WTF. this was crazy. wenxuan was SO secure attachment (slightly anxious) meets anxious avoidant :,) i loved the character development & how wenxuan helped li rong feel so secure within romantic relationships after being betrayed… HOW CUTE. ugh and their couple scenes had me drooling bro like the banter was there and the teasing . so good and i was floored. ofc wenxuan was hot too and the FL hella good acting - very surpised about that after seeing her other dramas!!

i loved the concept of a refresh and trying to fix everything. i loved how everyone had their soulmate they were meant to be with and persist!!! and how loose ends were tied(ish). ugh and LI RONG as an ACTUAL badass FL (not a “omg i’m so girlboss but i rely on my ML for everything” type). she literally commanded wenxuan and her army and the court. what a woman!!!! also court scenes and political scenes i usually can’t follow and don’t understand but this one was good!!! i understood the schemes
