The trailer always seems to make us so deluded that something real bad is gonna happen when it seems like they later handle it well so I try to not think too much... BUT O M G... the part in ep6 preview where it shows that Hong Haein's deceased brother came into her hallucinations / dreams and saying it was time for the brother to pick her up... LIKE NO PLS... why are they scaring us like that

p.s. woah didn’t expect a western actor to appear in a kdrama and a good one too like I didn’t even watch all of The Originals but did notice he was familiar... the actor is Sebastian Roché if anyone is curious

I'm honestly pissed at that too but I believe in the next episodes we can see some clarity and see / show more of her vulnerable side to Hyunwoo cause it shows that all these years they have never been really open about their mistakes so she is slowly doing that as we can tell from the recent episodes

yeah I agree, I prefer jang han seok than the SML here at least he served a better purpose than yoon eun seong who is just a psychopath being upset that he couldn’t be hong haein's partner 🤣

I like the realistic irony shown here how everyone basically has a demon in their heart but the actual known "demon" is the one helping Do Hee and all her so-called "family" are the actual demons. Realistically, many people in our lives that we are so close with tend to be more "demon" like or evil than strangers or new people that we meet.

Yeah I agree, in ep 8 we also see that Ran Joo was trying to at least focus on her own life while taking care of her mother and trying to reflect on herself.

Especially when there many times when all the leads could just idk talk about it instead of just having the mindset that they are "busy" so they will confess about it another time. AND I hated how until ep 18 they still haven’t cleared the whole uncle-niece relationship between Shi Yan & Shi Yue... it’s not even funny at this point how they keep trying to make coincidences to happen then fails every time when INSTEAD they can just clarify that "OH we don’t have that kinda relationship and we are family and with Guan Ji he also could’ve said OH she’s a family friend"

Honestly kinda wished Dylan Wang and Bai Lu had better scripts cause they deserved better and even though I was so distracted with how slow the plot was, their chemistry could’ve been used in a better script

Honestly I've never felt so fed up about how the script feels so out of touch and awkward??? Like what's with the continuous eye contact competition and me being in ep 18 thinking if we are halfway through the show, it would start to pick up its pace... idk if I should even continue

Oh yes seeing the recent episodes made me realise she can be quite immature at times but I guess her life in the island made her question so many aspects of life so that helped her become somewhat mature I suppose. I understand where the inconsistency is shown and I think most people are probably focusing more on who is Jung Kiho. 🤣

It's more like she is a bit slow with understanding how to get used to the world in the present time when she clearly lost 15 years of education, social life, and change of generations. As I believe was mentioned in the drama, "she's still a 16 year old living in a 31 year old body".

Haha I agree with you... especially with her putting the love potion in the glass because I expected her to just probably hand him a bottle of water instead of going through that trouble 🤣🤣

I kinda hate the fact that many people are so easy to judge HJ's character being annoying and careless. I understand she might be a bit troublesome with the spells but she seriously doesn’t deserve to be treated the way she is treated either with her workmates or with SY. Do keep in mind that HJ has been living alone for a while and she went through a rough patch after her father's loss.
She may have been careless with the love spell but who in the world wouldn’t be curious about some magic that can help her feel less lonely. She herself didn’t believe any of the bullshit because for sure no one would think it could work but in a few days, SY kept chasing her around. Now that SY gave her attention, of course she felt happy that someone cared for her... but it being fake and some spell is something that can give you a hard time especially when SY's partner is her ex-friend NY. It hurts when HJ knows that she probably doesn’t deserve anyone's love either it being SY or JK, why? because she doesn’t have a good background.

I might be ranting a little bit cause today's episode just made me feel so bad for HJ especially with someone possibly stalking her, like girl doesn’t deserve all this... :(

I quite agree that HJ is the one who's the most at pity because she doesn’t deserve to be treated like that because of her background or her appearance (when she’s like sooo pretty). I am also seeing so many people in many dramas or specifically in this show where they believe that just cause the man is more handsome and has a higher reputation means that he doesn’t have the right to hit on someone while the woman being less pretty and bad reputation should be pointed as the one who hit on the man. Like what kinda logic is this???? Ep7 clearly showed that people think HJ was just hitting on men just cause she seems close or just cause she’s talking with them.

Yeah, I honestly understand her and how it feels to not be able to fit in with a group of colleagues. Even though, yes, at many times she can be clumsy and a little annoying but it represents people who are known as outcasts in a society. Ngl a good representation of that 😬

The fact that all those shows are on Netflix, that's crazy! So happy for him 🤩
