My GOD, when did he say HE wants her DEAD? Can people point me to that scene? I keep hearing about it. I'm loosing my mind. He was happy at the prospect of finally escaping her insane and abusive family, because even simply asking for a divorce was a monumental task that he was scared to even propose, in fear of what they would do to him.
Yes, he didn't have much compassion for her situation in the beginning, because all his love for her was buried under a mountain of resentment and hate after years of abuse, neglect and indifferent treatment at both her and her family's hand. Do people forget that she wasn't all that bothered to see him be gone to the US for a couple of years when her family proposed that? "Oh, having a baby? Sure, why not, we'll just let someone else raise it and you go to the US". How can she say something like that, especially with their history of losing a child, if she loved her husband so much?
No, she's definitely not innocent in this and she had an ACTIVE role in pushing him away and making him that way. They're both at fault for the situation their marriage is in, so for those trying to take sides like the OP, you're watching this drama but not understanding anything unfortunately..

Did he? Wasn't she the one who forced him to make that move by not even taking into consideration his feelings about their child's death? I mean, she literally took the decision to get rid of their child's things without talking to him because it "annoyed" her to see them. How do you think that made him feel? You can't give ultimatums and take decisions by yourself like that in a marriage, especially when it comes to subjects so sensitive like losing a child and expect not to see changes in the relationship. That should have been discussed and decided together, but as we can see, communication is the bane of their relationship..

I understand that point, but she's let too many comments slide from him regarding her marriage and especially towards her husband. While I understand not doing it until now because she's interested in his help for her business, I would really like to see that change from now on, or it would really be a weak point in the drama for me. Is her 1 trillion won sales race more important to her than her husband? I mean, it's clear she loves her husband so much, why let this "business partner" disrespect him so much at every turn? When's he gonna "cross that line" she talked about in the past because in my opinion, he already did it by a few miles..

I do agree that they've taken it a bit too far with how many liberties Eun Soung has shown regarding their marriage and until now Hae In has done nothing to correct or admonish him for his transgressions, especially seeing as how she said in the second episode that she cut any connections with him because he kept "crossing the line". If she doesn't snap at him the next time he tries something, it's gonna be pretty disappointing to see...

You're completely right.

It's not a competition + I have a feeling after episode 8 we're gonna see more from Hyun Woo's point of view because until now, except for episode 1 it was heavily in favor of Hae In..
There's gonna be some huge bombshells in the future regarding who saved Hae In, how her brother died, etc. You'll see..

I mean, until now Hyun Woo didn't even focus on them. He had other more important problems with his marriage to deal with. I'm sure as soon as those are moderately fixed, or the villains interfere too much in his marriage that he's forced to address it, he's gonna go full steam ahead against those rats..

I don't think he ever suspected those fraudsters were all together or had the gall to just go in there and swoop like it was their own house + he was dealing with more important things for some time now, like his marriage. When that's out of the way, he's gonna have time to focus more on these rats..
