LOL, Ren Yu was one grumpy ass mermaid!!!! Also, dude is pissed that his fishy friends get kidnap from the water, meanwhile, he's up there on shore eating them COOKED!!!
First I came for Jang Ki Yong. He's pretty as hell and he has this "clueless puppy" look when he looks at his female leads that I'm shocked none of them haven't jumped his bones on set yet. Anyways, it was an okay drama, but it was boring most times. I liked the leads, but ML had nothing going for him but his looks. He was the blandest ML. My favorite characters were the second couple. (Female fox and FL's best friend). They were fun to watch. I didn't catch SLS or felt bad for him because his character just felt intrusive, then with the whole red thread plot, yea. It got sad towards the end, then happy again and that's it. Pretty eh drama, but I LOVE looking at Jang Ki Yong, so whatever.
Ugh, he's just so frickin pretty, but I do agree with the below comment. He's typecast as being either a cold male lead or he's nice, but still stays serious. He plays the parts well, but if you've ever seen interviews with him, dude's like a ball of sunshine and always smiling. I need to see more of that in his dramas. But he was awesome in Come and Hug Me though and it showed he can act. He also has this blank expression that he does when he's staring at his female co stars and he looks like this wounded puppy where you just want to pet him. I don't know how his female co stars can stand it and not fall in love with this man in one go. I wouldn't be able to control myself, even with all the acting training.
Yea there r some plot holes. The plot isn't perfect to judge. But as a whole package, it's a worth watching series…
LOL, it honestly goes no where. By episode 11, nothing really happens, but at episode 7 or 6, (I forgot) it's explained when he's talking to Yi either at the car dealership or at the racing track, that he's always been in love with Kuea, he just wanted Kuea to be his true self with him. I think maybe that's what the entire plot of this show must have been about. Also yeah, they didn't explain the age gap well because in the flashbacks, they made the mistake of using the same child actor for Lian, from when Kuea was a baby (where as Lian looked like 9-10) to when Kuea was like 4 or 5 and they used back the same kid. By then, Lian should've at least been about 15 or so. Kuea was 20-22 I think ,so I assumed Lian was around 28 - 30.
Yoooo, they flipped the script on us with Big. I knew since the actor became a fan favorite, they weren't about to risk it and ruin the character, I guess. I kinda like this change. I mean....shiittt, if Vegas looked at me like that, I too would betray countries. Jk....maybe....I don't know...
I do not understand Por at ALL. Why go through all that BS with the letters to get Tawan, only to cheat on him???…
I went in with low expectations and came out impressed. Did not expect to enjoy this so much. It was nice seeing Fame and Best again. They've grown so much and I remembered them from that fever dream drama, My Dream. I loved Tawan and Mork. It was such a nice love story. I didn't care for the other couples, one reason being, I've been so spoiled by Yoon and Talay, I hated seeing him with another BL partner...LOL, but seriously yea...it's just that the other couples didn't have that much chemistry like the leads. Mork is just the sweetest and I loved how the camera guy only showed the side where his dimple was. Bless him! Nice drama!
Started out strong, by episode 4, I was bored, then I skipped and just watched the last two episodes and they were MEH. This could've been better because I love K-Thrillers. Bo Hyun was extra fine in here though.
This should've been called Cutie Kisses, cuz lorrrdd. Anyways, this was honestly 12 episodes of nothing. It wasn't a bad drama, I enjoyed it because I came in with low expectations and you can tell they spent some good money on the production, but it flowed like any other contractual marriage k-drama that I've seen and by episode 9, I was bored and fast forwarding through the episodes. The "secrets" were all a let down that didn't warrant all the drama. All the new actors did a great job especially New. He's adorable. Max and my little pocket baby Nat did their thing, but I'm still lost by their story arc. Like did the dog knock the memories out of Nat's character? Or did it maul him, which caused him trauma to forget? Their story wasn't really explained well. All I got was that Diao's father was using whatever happened to get money from off Yi. I also liked Zee as the cold CEO type. He can pull it off and him and New had good chemistry too
Now the COUPLE that I wanted was Syn and Nuer and my takeaway from this entire drama is that I'm ready for Yim and Tutor to carry their own BL or at least give us a spin off of their characters. I had to wait ELEVEN episodes for all those sexual stares to finally explode. They have great on screen chemistry.
Lots of skin-ship and plenty of kisses, but the story dragged and you tend to end up losing interest. But it's okay for a first time watch and New's singing voice is so soothing and beautiful.
So good. I love me some messy drama. But, I still can't believe she was fine with the open relationship, but the straw that broke the camel's back was with the best friend. Girl, he belonged to the streets, not you. Man, that must had been some good dick, that had Hyun so hung up. The ending looked like she was ready to risk it all again.
I'm struggling to get into this. I'm just not vibing with the FL, plus with the styling, they have the ML looking like 18, while the FL looks tired, rundown and 40. She's 31 for crying out loud. A 7 year gap isn't that deep. I'm 32. We are not old and on death's door.
