So who's the Natsu in it nd fl is definitely not Lucy so yeah idk
Yao Yao is a calm Natsu and Yan Hui is Lucy, with Erza tendencies. Lucy was still pretty bad ass when she put her mind to it, so respect her please and thanks.

LOL I love that MacKenyu, who plays Zoro, is leading the cast instead of the actor for Luffy, who the show is actually about. Put some respeck on Sonny Chiba's son!!!

I'd have to agree with you about this not being an epic romance. I very much enjoyed the drama overall, especially…
Totally agree. I almost gave up at episode 17 because it got annoying with the angst between the couple and dragging BXS into a love triangle, but the story with the Dark Phantom is what kept me going.
On Back from the Brink Jun 24, 2023
Remember that anime called Fairy Tail? This was basically that.

Three friends set out on an epic journey to bring balance to the world of good and evil. They meet lots of friends along the way, acquire magical items and power, battle an emo kid that wants the entire world depressed like him, all the while going through hardships and heartbreak. Lots and lots of heartbreak. Like bloody hell, do not get attached to ANYONE on this show.

This show was basically death and destruction in every episode, with comedy and a sprinkle of romance.

If you're looking for some sort of epic romance though, I wouldn't look here. It was so minimal. But you get lots and lots of hugs and hand holding. The leads had incredible chemistry, it just wasn't utilized properly to give us an epic love story.

If you're looking for an epic action adventure type thing, then this is it. I enjoyed it for that.

Anyways, I liked the leads and I'm glad they made the FL uber powerful and the one to do the final battle. It's always the man saving the woman, but not tahdayyy!

Don't give into the evil in your hearts, kiddies.

i personally think this show is overrated. the plot was absurd (even for a work of fiction) and difficult to follow.…
I'm currently on episode 10. I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece, but it's very entertaining. Moo Chi is also my favorite, just watching him trying to get in prison. 🤣 And yes, it's blatantly obvious who the new serial killer will be, by the start of the present scenes, I knew who was the current and who would be the new one, but it has a bunch of cool plot twists so far especially with the original serial killer. But it looks like there is another serial killer coming into play too, but this is 10 eps in, so I might be wrong.

If I don't trust MDL with their reviews what apps or site can I rely on to get a good review of what drama I want…
I don't go by reviews, but I guess IMDB is a better one, once they have these shows/movies on there. I just watch trailers and go into shows/movies blind.
It makes for a better watching experience for me. If they don't pass the 3 episodes rule or 20 minute rule, (i.e,) if it doesn't hold my interest by episode 3, or for a movie, 20 mins in, it gets dropped and I move on to the next thing.

This was great. I always end up liking shows that the majority of the ppl here on MDL hate. This was actually a proper adult romance.

The Good Parts

Male Lead
His smile when he decides to do it
His BFF
His sister
Drunk Male Lead
The story

The Bad Parts

Female Lead. (She was so irritating until the final few episodes.)

How they wrote in the best friend with the FL. He met her for 5 mins when she was 6 and pointed her to a police station. There is another reason as to why he became obsessed with her, but if you think about it, any noise could've distracted the best friend from what he was about to do.

The second couple. (I started out liking them, but then their love story just became annoying) They should've honestly made it so that ML's BFF and FL's BFF became lovers.

The parents/relatives of everyone except the best friend.....(THEY WERE ALL TRASH! )

The show was too long. It could've ended in 24 episodes. It was too long winded.

The reason for the falling out between ML and his bff. It also would've made the show shorter, if they'd handled that sooner.

The female love rival. AT LEAST THE BEST FRIEND KNEW WHEN TO THROW IN THE TOWEL. This heffer just kept going, even when you thought she would've been their friend. Never trust a hoe that throws away sugar cubes.

The cousin and her dumbass mother didn't suffer any proper consequences and I'm bitter about that.

All in all, I enjoyed this drama. It was basically a love story between ML and his best friend.
Yes, it could've been shorter, but you have to keep in mind it was a revenge plot that spanned 13 years with the best friend, plus ML's father was holding up THE ENTIRE PROCESS.
I liked the ML, the romance was sweet and he was so adorably clingy. It had some clever one liners among the characters:- "I'm a little flower. Will you water me?" (iykyk)
"Xu Yiren's got more smarts in her big toe than you."

It was a show about lying and telling the truth, so it's going to get annoying at some points. Stick around for all the scenes with ML's little sister and just enjoy the long ride.

Title Our Skyy 2
For me it was
1. ATOTS - I figured this would've ended up being my fav. I just LOVE the way Mix looks at Earth in whatever show they do together. It's so adorable. That last scene with PatPran and their orignal chemistry, was a sweet bonus too.
2. Vice Versa - All the romantic feels
3. Boss & Babe - Funny and I love GunCher
4. The Eclipse - Skinship galore but still sweet.
5. MSP - A repeat of the original, but I still enjoyed my little cuties and the music!!!
6. BB/Crossover - Wasn't bad, but felt different, they spent a good amount of the crossover apart and most of their scenes were also implied and overshadowed by PhaTian.
7. NLMG - Eh....
8. SIMM - Skinship galore, but boring and dryer than a plate of KFC's biscuits. This couple really has nothing going for them and we've already had like what, two other specials with them doing the same stuff over and over.

I was trying to watch this on Netflix for the past 3 days, but kept falling asleep. I also didn't like the FL in the bits I've seen, so there's that. I'll try again this weekend and update this comment.

It wasn't a bad series. I actually liked it, but it all went to hell after episode 6. From my understanding, when they did the threesome, no sperm didn't stick, which means Eiji and Meiko cheated on Makki (when Makki figured out the timeline wasn't right), that's how the baby ended up being Eiji's.

You see, this whole surrogacy and Eiji's and Makki's relationship could've worked, if one, they waited until they finished school (obviously) two, EVERYONE was on the same page and they planned and talked it out carefully because Makki was clearly not into it, three, keep the sleeping with each other as a threesome, no separate sex, hell, even artificial insemination would've worked and saved them the stress and four, if they'd set some sort of boundaries. Watching Makki being slowly phased out from the relationship was heartbreaking. I had Meiko and Eiji's back up until then. I don't know how you claimed you fell in love with Makki and ended up betraying him like that and falling for Mieko??? Eff him. They both started to become selfish and hurt Makki in the process. He was too good for them. But I'm satisfied with the ending. I hope Eiji chokes on that jacket!!!!!!

Makki deserves the world and here's hoping it's Asato.
