Whoever did the makeup for this show needs to go back to bed. June Wu had two different shades on his face and the FL's was so pale, she looked like a corpse. When she put her hand to her face, it was yellow compared to her face.
Oh, I really enjoyed this one. I didn't want it to end. 6 episodes weren't enough.
Honda Kyoya is just so distractingly beautiful and I enjoyed the on screen chemistry with him and Suzuki. I love second chance romances and this was well done.
Splitting it up ruined the experience for me because by the time this aired, I'd completely forgotten what happened in part 1 and couldn't be bothered with a rewatch, but I did enjoy this part better than the first though.
Man, this story just feels all over the place. It was pointless to make King turn on Uea, instead of just hugging him and telling him it's okay, then just going back upstairs and kicking Krit's ass. Made no sense!
It was good, but the story dragged on for way too long. I also didn't care for the 2nd couple. They were annoying. I also wasn't feeling the romance of the leads.
I know Irene is 29, but by how tiny she is and the way they dressed her and made her act, it was like watching a guy and his little sister. I couldn't get into it because of that. Maybe if they had made her act more mature.
Why is Viki saying an 8 and a 9 episode are upcoming?
Anyways, this was okay, but it was a little slow for me. By episode 4, they started to stray a bit from the manhwa and mixed up a lot of the chapters and did their own thing.
This is one time I liked the manhwa better than the live action. Also as expected, there was no kiss in the main story of the manwha, so I didn't expect to see it here, BUT there was a kiss in the special chapters and they kind of incorporated some of that here with the time skips. But yea, I wasn't expecting a kiss.
But episode 7 was hella cute.
Still patiently waiting for OnlyOneOf to get their own idol BL.
It's probably just me, but I just don't like dramas with this FL. I tried "My ID", "Graceful Family" , "Woori The Virgin" "Doctor Lawyer" and now this and just ended up getting bored by the 5th episode and dropping.
She's really not an engaging actress for me. Which is a shame because I wanted to support KJH's comeback. Maybe I'll pick this up in the future again when I'm in between dramas.
I really enjoyed this. It was cute, funny and sweet. I loved the leads. Yes the kisses were terrible, but they had such great chemistry. The General and the Princess took me out! 😂😂
I enjoyed the female lead actress. She brought the comedy. She was great in Queen of Attack.
The end would've made a great opener for a season 2 where the King becomes like the body double of the real Wang Zeng and makes a profit off of it.
I also loved how they time traveled. It was simple and easy and I liked how they could just go back and forth at will.
It's like no one can hold a scene for 10 mins without getting their asses kicked. Also, for someone that gets strangled every 5, Ken is very lax about his safety. DeeDee would've been shot or his butt would've stayed outside until he looked up!!!
Seems like Din's parents don't know that the Chief is dirty. I assumed everyone knew by the confusion that were eps 1 to 4 or I'm just still confused. I'm only sure that they don't know he killed their son. Also, what the hell is the crime here? What was Din killed for? Drug smuggling, human smuggling? Or illegal deforestation since we had a whole episode on wood?????!!!
I also don't trust Payu. I feel like he knows what's going on, but the other guys in the friend group are just...........
I lowkey like how unhinged Nok is and I thought his ass was getting massaged in a bird coop.
I'm loving this drama, BTW.

EDIT: In my opinion, she ended up with the wrong guy, but whatever.

Nhai is still an idiot.
Well Ai, there's no backing out now!
Aww, nice ending to all that chaos. I wish them all the really tall Ai/Nhai babies!!!
