"I'll kiss you so hard next time, your insides will throb." YESSSSSS, BABY! I LOVE IT!!!! 😂😂
"I can take sole possession of your piercing holes too, right?" 😂😂 This show is just ridiculously quotable.
🤣🤣 Man I loved this. I love cringe nonsense like this where the romance goes from 0 to 100 in a flash, the 90's style silk sheet softcore porn scenes when they make love. ALL OF IT. This had a bunch of my fav male actors and it was funny, cringey and had more hugs than a Japanese BL. I liked the FL too.
The only thing that would've made this better was Sakurada Dori making a cameo because this type of show was right up his alley. STAY WEIRD, JAPAN!
Finished. First, this show was not all that terrible. I was expecting worse based on these comments/reviews. It was actually better than History 4, in my opinion.
My likes:-
1) Tai Che Ni. He was a high functioning, neurotic mess, but very likeable and funny and I'm glad he released all that energy in taking care of Hai Yi. They had the bickering couple thing going on and it's my fav troupe. 2) Hai Yi. Lips to die for, a big kid, getting through his abandonment issues, but still very sweet. 3) The Time Lord or Time Deity. Whatever the hell he was called, he was funny and his random scenes always cracked me up. 4) I liked how they didn't waste time with Che Ni freaking out when he came to the future. He was adaptable. It helps that it was just 22 years into the future. But yea, they got right down to it. 5) The Sam reveal was a nice plot twist.
My Dislikes:-
1) The second couple really didn't have anything going for them expect for all that company drama and Liang Wen Hsen keeping tabs on Lin Huai En throughout his entire life. But they were cute I guess. 2) Tai Che Ni. The big dummy started to sabotage the relationship from episode 18 and onwards. 😠Then him asking Hai Yi to go back to the past with him. Child, ain't no sane minded person will go back to 2000 when they have millions and a company to run in the future. 3) The misunderstandings. It's 2023. Time to put this troupe to rest unless it actually works for the story. ALL of these misunderstandings could've been solved if these guys had sat in a room, told their respective partners to STFU, listen and don't walk out of the room, until they had finished EXPLAINING the issues. 4) At one point we got nothing on the time travel element and they just focused on company shenanigans. But this was also clearly soul transmigration because they didn't give two craps about what happened to the real Che Ni that must have been trapped in Bo Wei's body back in 2000.
But other than that, this was alright. There was another obligatory History cameo. This was possibly the tamest of the History series.
Well at least NuengDiao's kidnapped picture was more bad ass than Rain's in LITA.
Palm was annoying this episode.
It's over. Don't expect any profound bodyguarding because Palm was terrible, which made sense since he wasn't trained. His dad pretty much forced him to come look after the rich kid of the family that gave them money. In the real world, they'd both be dead.
Don't expect a profound villain because Uncle Kit talked too much, but the actor did a good job.
The story strayed sometimes and that death was still unnecessary in my book.
The priorities and decisions of the characters will piss you off.
For me it started off strong, then fizzled off in the middle. It failed as an action/thriller by how ridiculous it was sometimes, but it worked as a Rom-Com because their island scenes were actually the best scenes.
And done. This was actually pretty good. Seo Ji Hye is my TV wife, so I'll watch anything with her. It was TORTURE watching Kim Ji Suk be the second lead though. ðŸ˜
Anyways, get pass the first 3 episodes and then you'll become hook. Fight the feeling of dropping it from the 2nd episode like I did.
If you want something that goes from a fun office romance, to childhood connections, to memory lost, to supernatural, to MURDERRRR!!!! Then check this out. This show legit had every troupe thrown in our face.
Lol, the leads made a pair. One will know if you cheat, the other will predict it.
In the last episode, they provided all of their backstory that we missed in the main episodes and how they got their powers. They never explained about the cousin and her bucket list, but happy endings all around for the couples. LOL, those last few mins of them breaking up and getting back together were funny as hell though. They became ORDINARY.
Damn these two are just.....so pretty. I took a 10 sec pause on a still just to admire them together. James can also pass for a relative of Saint's. He even has some of his mannerisms.
I watched the two episodes back to back and it's cool so far. I can see the mother is going to be a problem.
This looks like it's going to be a mature and sexy one. Now that the fluffy/cuteness overload of MSP on Fridays are over, I need some smut back in my life.
Yim is still my soft baby. Can't wait for Tutor to show up.
LMAO. This show was so fucking stupid. The blood stains were still RIGHT there on the weapon. 🤣
Anyways, this was a crackhead series. Chaotic characters, chaotic storyline and they blind sided us with the whole dumb murder plot too.
And apparently they're trying to give us a season 2. Oh God.
Show's over and I STILL find Matteo shifty as hell.
Pim falling off the building and surviving honestly had me cracking up along with Saint telling her, " This too shall pass " 🤣🤣🤣 . Dude, she nose dived off a building. Even Satan didn't want her.
"My heart has three stages. Solid, liquid and solidly yours." 😂😂😂
They are so cute and corny, it hurts!!!!!
LOL, I gasped!!!! I wasn't expecting that cute peck in part 1. I am so used to them faking us out!
The parents, friends and hell even the school kids were all wholesome, then comes the asshole teacher to ruin a good thing.
I can listen to Fourth sing all day.
Welp, WinSound are never going to be bored in their relationship. I can tell you that. LOL.
I'm going to miss these blue shorts babies!
100% recommend if you just want something fluffy, wholesome, fun, cute, with a good amount of angst, great chemistry among the leads and friends, great music, some heart warming scenes, the greenest green flag boyfriend you can ever ask for, supportive friends and family and the happiest of endings. This show definitely brightened my Fridays.
#JUSTICEFORPAT 🤣🤣🤣ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
PS:- Peep the two teachers in the back that were MAD, MAD! 😂😂😂
Grim Reaper You've been around since the age of times and guided so many souls to the afterworld that life has no secret for you but existence is the definition of loneliness. You're a hard worker and reliable but you are also kind and sometimes grant wishes of the dead. Being your friend is a privilege only the most worthy will have.
Moody's Cell You start a drama, then drop it after 2 episodes. Your PTW is exploding, but you watch a random drama that's not in the list. You rant on the Feeds about how you hate a trope, then next time you know, you choose a drama with exactly that trope. You don't even know what your taste is anymore, but hey, who cares about being put in a box.
Paralyzed and poisoned by a snake You managed to escape, but you suddenly tripped and fell on a snake. It bit you and you are paralyzed. It will be slow death.
Damn, I was better off with the kidnappers. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I loved it. The bromance was so strong that it was borderline BL. The leads were clearly starting to fall for each other. The extra episodes were basically showing them as a married couple even though it was supposed to be a contract romance, but you could tell Shiro was falling hard and Ichiro was following behind.
Anyways, I liked the story. It was great for a crime drama. The fight scenes were well choreographed, albeit a little slow. I enjoyed it. I wanted more.
Well for me it's not terrible, just that the plot was so inconsistent sometimes. One minute it's supposed to be an action, the next it's an island romantic comedy. A lot of stuff didn't make sense, the priorities of the characters were terrible, especially NuengDiao's, but at least he had a somewhat proper character development. Palm sucks as a bodyguard (but looked damn good doing it), then they're supposed to be introducing us to the Perth/Chimon pairing to gear us up for their upcoming show but hardly gives them any screen time. (Someone commented below that they were robbed of the scenes they shot)
TL;DR, the show started out strong, but hit a slump midway.

Fitting for my black soul.
It was not a perfect date, but she loves you anyway. So it is HE for this date. But for the perfect ending you need to try better.
I almost went full on serial killer and pushed her in the crocodile pit just to see how it would go.

Inukai Atsuhiro is a great actor.
