This made me love Dylan Wang even more. He's such a great actor.
Anyways, started off strong, dragged in the middle a bit, then got depressing in the end. What the hell happened to RongHao and the first God of War? I feel like I missed their ending.
I pretty much enjoyed all the scenes with DF and his Moon Tribe. Everything else up in the Fairy World was annoying.
I was doing a rewatch out of boredom and realize that Yoo In Soo (Alchemy of Souls) was in this and he was the guy that was trying to kill them. Small world.
That true. They didnβt really explain the cousinβs bucket list but I assumed it was because she was going…
Yep, it seems like they might get back their powers, but I'm hoping the guy only get his. Her power would be such a pain to keep for the rest of your life. At least with him, he's almost at Superman level.
Went in with low expectations, but I thoroughly enjoyed this drama. Angst and all. Great characters, great story about healing and it was funny to boot. It had one of the sweetest back hugs!!!! Kim Moo Joon was so fluffy and squishyyyy!!!!!
Anyways, for all the people that always ask, it's all love from 1st to 8th episode, angst from 9 till 15, couple breaks up at 12, gets back together in the end.
Besides Tinn from MSP, Park Taejun is another male lead I can get behind.
Wow, they're actually staying true to the manwha so far. If it keeps going like that, buckle up guys, you're going to be in for an interesting ride. This is definitely a true enemies to lovers romance.
Let me tell you, this was the only show were I was rooting for both the villain and hero. It also gave us a great villain. We watched him SPIRALED and I mean spiraled from the happy go lucky guy, to this crazed individual, all the while still feeling sorry for him. I was rooting for the villain because he really didn't deserve all that and I honestly wanted him to get a win and kick Li Xun down a notch. All my guy wanted was to be equal to Li Xun and earn his respect. This was basically a rivalry that went tragically wrong.
I was rooting for Li Xun because after every shit he's been through and even though he was PAINFULLY arrogant and high horsed, he backed up his arrogance. He bowed to no one. I was satisfied with the ending.
If this show had any other ML, I feel like I would've dropped this, CFY did his thing here. He owned Li Xun and he's only 22!!!! He carried this show on his prison buzz cut head. I had such a love hate relationship with this character. The guy single handedly drove one guy to insanity and a potential early grave, another one to alcoholism (he deserved it all though) and low key drove Zhu Yun to depression. Li Xun antagonized EVERYONE, but lawd, we somehow couldn't hate him.
The side characters were great too. My baby Ren Di (who was pretty much Li Xun's personal bank) and Xiao Liu (how dare you make my wife sad). All the characters on here were a pain in the ass (especially the guys), but still likeable people.
Then in the second half with the guys from the new company who also became Li Xun's new found family and that weirdo hacker. Loved them all. The leads also had great chemistry and it's a slow burn romance.
7/10 for the first half because it was really just long winded BS, but it did give us a great villain back story, but 10/10 from episode 23 till the end.

Now I feel like rewatching the originals!
The way King tackled Jade to the floor to get at Uea had me dying.
He better bring that same energy when he gotta deal with all these heauxs that won't leave Uea ALONE.
ππ When I said I wanted to see Chane in another BL, I meant with him and Pepper as leads!!! Not as a homewrecker.
He's gonna end up a headless horseman soon.
The guy is either depressed or getting put in the chokehold.
We all know who the motorcycle guy is, but come on!! Are there not easier ways to get him to leave? An email? Something?
