Thank you, I quoted it from the show :DYup, he's great here. You could give this a try and learn some Spanish…
Wow! How I would've liked to have been there for the finals! Spanish weather, food and the culture suits me more than the cold and dreary weather. I know what you mean. Going to the nearby mall or even the gym feels like a lifetime as well. Sigh...

Nice. I've only been there once for vacation and to catch a footy match lol Speaking of Spain, I'm suddenly craving for tapas... Yikes, lockdown! Darn :(
Great job to the both of you and congrats on your first article. It's a great read, very insightful and thought provoking. It certainly provides much food for thought π
Yay! You finally watched this! Young Blood is one of my all-time favourite underrated gems. I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as I did π Now onwards to season 2! Btw, love the poetry as well, it's a nice touch!
So far, I haven't seen any gross Chinese communist propaganda. In fact, the book the main CP bond over Leaves…
Agreed. They are focusing on a different dynamic for this one, compared to other dramas. It would've been nice to have more colours but I like the unity theme in general. I'm just glad and thankful we're living in 2021 (albeit with the pandemic) instead of the 1930s.

Well said. It's the 1930s, the world is on the brink of war, Japanese invasion is looming and there's chaos everywhere. There's no tv or internet, young idealists are influenced by new and foreign ideologies from whatever books they're able to get their hands on. I think the performance of the cast so far projects the realism that is reflective of that era. Just my humble opinion.
Great article, my dear friends! Amazing write-up for what sounds like a really interesting and heartwarming drama. Love the adorable gif and cartoon as well βΊοΈ
Wonderful article. It's so well-written and incredibly detailed. Love the formatting and arrangement :) I've heard many good things about this drama, and you mentioned all of them!
I've been waiting for your article to get published for the longest time. Now that it's finally out, I LOVE IT! And I knew you were going to showcase the swordsmanship aspect and clips too π Agree with all that you said because Hao Du is indeed a unique character that's worthy of being called the wolf of Tang. Well done, Kairi!
I can almost imagine the Ainu's magical world just from reading your very intimate account of watching this movie. Well done :) Is there any furry animals depicted? I'm craving for some!
I've been wanting to watch this one because I've a soft spot for Neo Hou. Haha And all those wonderful tags you…
Thanks for visiting and appreciate your kind words very much :) Yes, this drama has no angst but instead has all the cultural myths. I think you'll find this fascinating! And you're right, Neo Hou is excellent here :D
Fantastic review and I love the title you came up with. I always enjoy how detailed and well-structured your reviews…
Thank you, dear :) I couldn't resist plagiarising that title from Kevin Costner's film, the backdrop of the wild outdoors is quite fitting imho. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of it once you start!

Spam away, the scenery is wonderful! (but I'm still sore about the lack of furry animals lol)
