I loved this drama and wish there were more episodes. It was so clever, fresh and intelligent. Great acting and…
Our thoughts exactly, we're missing it already. Wish there were more dramas like it, just fantastic overall. We'll need to do group support here to get over it :)
Thank you my friend but this time all due credit must go to the scriptwriter, I just lifted it from him! This…
That's a good idea, especially since Malaysia is under lockdown again gosh. Disney+ has begun offering its services here too so that's another option for more content. I guess staying stuck at home isn't so bad after all lol.

Oh yes, Shadow and Bone. I was about to start it a couple of weeks ago until someone on MDL told me that it ends in a cliffhanger and that s2 would be out either year end or early next year. But thanks for the heads up, I'm attracted to those kinds of shows too :) I've got a few series on Netflix that are still awaiting sequels yikes!

Totally understand and I agree, lately what's up with the mediocre offerings too! I can't believe it! I was just chatting with @sony_t earlier about going back to older productions I had missed out on because there's more quality then.
I was also talking to @skibbies about the CCP's 100th anniversary-themed dramas. I discovered one that's pretty good so far. Still ongoing but released slowly on YT but the raw is released faster. Featuring a huge renowned cast and anthology of many short stories, about 30 mins per episode. Perhaps that would be easier on your busy schedule to try out. https://kisskh.at/685281-faith-makes-great
Again I have to applaud your almost uncanny ability to choose the best headlines for your marvellous reviews. Pure gold, period xD I dropped this after less than 10 eps so I'm amazed you persevered through. I wish Zhu Xudan would get better roles in the future. So many female characters have been let down of late :/
Awesome article! Very comprehensive and detailed, I'll have to save bookmark this link for future reference. Great job as always, love the effort you put in. Well done! :)
Great review! I dropped this one at around episode 10, just couldn't get into it. But you made it and experienced your first disappointment in a xianxia production. Achievement unlocked! :)
Yes, this drama made me "feel alive", it evoked so many emotions while watching and that is very good storytelling…
126 episodes from 11 different C-dramas, wow! Hopefully you'll be able to complete some from your on-hold list. You're right about J-dramas, they're shorter. Taiwanese dramas are relatively shorter as well, so you could try those since you're hooked on them after completing Mars :)
Looks like I'll continue to watch Queen Seon Duk on my own lol I've got 20+ episodes to go, and I'm seriously contemplating starting Dong Yi right after.

Hmmm, seems like you're more of a "serial holder" than a serial dropper. I noticed that many off the on-hold dramas do spark joy for you. Tough decisions :/

That's true, otherwise you won't be able to enjoy the summer break :( Have you watched Marie Kondo's KonMari concept? Perhaps that could help your spring cleaning :P
Congratulations on publishing your first article! It's very nicely done :) I love the arrangement and detailed write up on each of the dramas showcased. Hope to read more of your content in the future!
I was surprised to see this article since as you've said, it's mostly an underrated gem type. I loved Young Blood…
Thanks for coming over and checking out our article :) You're very welcome and don't worry about it, all viewers appreciate different facets of productions and it's only fair that not everything works for everyone. Hopefully you'll come across a production that you really like. Speaking of Young Blood, I really do hope the second season gets produced soon because it's been a while since season 1 ended.

Wish there were more dramas like this one - simple yet endearingly heart-warming and compelling. Such a gem indeed!

Speaking of which, I myself need to pick up some J-dramas too!
