I also don't like that plot. It's overused with no creative ideas. What's worse is that SML is doing all the mess for this misunderstanding towards ML (he thought ML killed her back then).
I don't have much problem with SML. He is just there as a plot device. I don't care much about him either. Just reduce his screentime. He got too much screentime for a support role.
