I really have to wonder if we watched the same show ... or have the same experience of 12 year olds. I mean, people…
I think there are viewers that think the definition of 'Childish' is a woman who is inexperienced with physical intimacy. There seems to be a big cultural GAP where people can't seem to understand that there are still societies out there where it is quite normal to not start dating until you are in your mid to late 20's and that people will only consider dating IF and ONLY they see marriage as the ultimate end. Naive, shy, pure and inexperienced is somehow seen as a woman being oppressed, rather than a woman who knows to respect herself and doesn't just jump into any reltaionship unless they are sure.
I t pretty depends on what you like or interest you. While other pple may say the drama doesn't have a foundation…
Well said. Especially your point about people living their lives despite the problems they face. I think the world we live in now is the problem, too doom and gloom and hate. There are problems in this drama but they choose not to make a big deal out of it or make it the centre point of the plot. They chose to highlight the good stuff.
love the soundtrack but story wise, he's just too perfect n it felt like sheng sheng didn't hv parents towards…
It's mentioned in the drama, she was raised by her grandparents because her parents were busy. Similar to the ML, we never even see his parents cos they are both doctors and are really busy too. He basically raised himself.
Respect your opinions on the drama, but I think the cultural differences can make this drama difficult to appreciate…
Yeah, the main focus is their relationship so I guess they just assumed it didn't really matter just as long as she was not unemployed. LOL, have you seen 'When I fly towards you' cos that is EXACTLY what the ML does. He takes her to an apartment he bought as a surprise and then proposes. Sorry for the spoiler but something to look forward to if you haven't seen that drama yet.
I find it funny when people say this drama is not realisitic. Is it realistic and normal to have two guys fight over a girl and have female friends plot to sabotage your relationship? Must every relationship have misunderstandindings, or is it possible to have 2 people who can communicate in a healthy and respectful manner. Maybe the people who can't appreacite the nuances of this drama have never experienced such simple happiness and think it can only be a fantasy. This drama made me quite nostalgic as it brought back memories of how my husband and I first met and started our relationship. I could relate to the FL's thoughts and actions when she was shy and hesitant to move forward. Being younger and less experienced she trusted the ML and though it seems like she was just following along, he didn't do anyhting that needed her objection so why wouldn't she follow along. He was sensible, respectiful and patient. Also, she didn't follow along with EVERYTHING. He wanted their parents to meet and she immediately objected thinking it was unnecessary. When she needs to object, she objects but when you trust someone and you both share similar values, you really don't disagree with each other too often. Yes, at the start their converstations very very superficial and a little bit awkwards, but as their relationship progressed they started talking more casually and sharing the details about their life. You need to understand that, even though this is a modern drama, the setup is like an ancient drama where a couple gets married before they fall in love. While in LMLMV they don't get married first, the ML wants to quickly define their relationship as BF&GF before getting to know each other. She basically agrees to date him as she also wants to get to know him and see if they are compatible. Yes, she is awkward about it, but she was not FORCED to do anything. If she really was just a follower she would have instant said yes but instead she expressed her doubts and he acknowledged them and then addressed them.
Okay, finally finished and feel a bit conflicted. On the one hand you have:- no angst- no misunderstandings- no…
Respect your opinions on the drama, but I think the cultural differences can make this drama difficult to appreciate completely. The Male providing a house for a couples future is a really big thing in China. The fact he waited for her input for design and she wanted to contribute financially and wanted to get her own place for them to share once she made money is already a big step in a balanced relationaship considering the customs in chinese culture. Diagree that she has no real dreams or ambitions. Her dream is to compose and work with great artisits. Even when the ML's studio wanted to poach her she insisted on staying with the studio that she and her friends set up together. She is actually a very talented composer in their industry, and alot of people like to use her compositions. Example of this are littered all over the drama with people knowing her work, but not knowing that it was HER that composed them and when there was an audition, other than her stuido friends, other people were also using her work to audition. I agree that the ML seems a bit too perfect, and if any other actor was in the role I would probably be put off. BUT, I feel that TJC pulled it off really well because in real life, he himself is a muti talented individual so I didn't feel it was too far fetched. Also his acting skills are great and the script was well written. No tixicity in the drama is refreshing.
I'm also confused why he cannot still do it as a part-time, take some projects every year. π€π€·ββοΈ
He's actually just pivoting from being the Main Male Vocals in most of the industry BIG projects to possibly being the Second Lead, then doing guest appearrances but he mainly wants to pivot to 'Behind the scenes' work which is where he first started. His QQC persona will be 'retiring' but MQC involvement in Perfect voice will always exist.

Fan made video. ZY crying is from her movie with Arthur Chen. TJC crying is from a couple of his drama's 'Are you Safe' and 'Under the skin'. I recognise the scenes as I have watched all of them.
Some future episode BTS lol: https://weibo.com/7784088388/4979166230091167
Rough Translation: TJC: *Takes an emotional breath after the scene* Worker: "Were you moved?" They do another take of the scene Worker: "Is your bride today pretty?" TLC: "Yes" *Turns towards her and starts to put his arm around her* "When is there a day that she is not pretty?" ZY: "Really?" TJC: Turns around and starts explaining to workers "Because today she said the groom was not handsome" ZY: "I did not" TJC: "She said that today I looked miserable"
I'm one of the people that sees it as unrealistic, lemme explain lol. Your comment did get me thinking a bit tbh.…
According to the drama, after an online scandal he took 3 years away from the industry (PLenty of time to focus on his medical career). He is 29 Years old, so his group of friends started their little dubbing group when he was 19. 1st/2nd year of university. Yes studying to be a doctor can be hard but you're not doing it 24 hours a day. If he has no life outside of study and sleep, he has 4 hours a day he can use for this 'Hobby'. Compound that over 4 years of university life, it's enough time to become famous 'Online' in a relatively small industry at the time. Also, the point about him being a Surgeon, he was on the phone talking to someone about further study when he was taking ShengSheng on the subway. It could be he has just started his training as a surgeon. They don't ever mention that he is the lead surgeon, how do you know he isn't the assist that is just starting out in that specialty. Also, he has mentioned that recently it has become harder and harder to manage both committments, probably why he will decide to retire from the Dubbing industry soon. His cooking skills were learnt before be went to university, when he was bored at home. Once you take a few years to master the basics, the rest is easy. After that he probably got into dubbing as cooking was no longer a challenge. Respect that you may see it different, I just don't think it's that unbelievable if someone uses their time efficiently.
People keep saying this drama is unrealisitc. He is a doctor, does voice acting and cooks well. How is that different to other high achievers in our society. TJC himself is a Championship dancer, professional singer and actor. Is that not also someone who has multiple talents? Also, my life is already full of ups and downs, I don't need to watch a drama that is also up and down. This drama is very healing and makes me smile watching it. Not interested in entertainment that makes me cry, get angry and frustrated. Each to their own though, just my thoughts on it.

CP shipping for me is also not serious, it's just fun to analyse human behaviour and is sweet for me. I'm not in China so I'm not looking to be a fanatical fan or affect their lives. Yeah, I've seen the analysis of the LYF Hello Saturday episode but also heard a rumour that TJC is dating Mao XiaoTong. The special Episode on his fist day back to Hello Saturday had alot of CP pushing TJC with her. YangDi was making a few suggestive comments. Also saw today that the Crew from 'A Journy to Love' went to Hello Saturday to promote their Drama (Epsiode will be broadcast next week). This Drama is in direct competition with Tencent's LMLMV as it is broadcasting at the same time on IQYI. Would be very interesting to see if the LMLMV crew will promote on Hello Saturday and if we get to see some clues in their live interaction... Did you both see the new BTS? One of their kiss scene, there was LITERAL elextricity that passed between them LOL! https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1yu4y1G7F7/?spm_id_from=333.337.search-card.all.click&vd_source=3058ac105fe300bf446c5e67bb859817
The thing is, even though they are officially GF/BF, emotionally they are still in the courting stage. She says it in one of the episodes that she thinks he is a bit weird. They don't even know each other very well but he was so keen to confirm their BF/GF status. He says, he wanted to lock in their state as he was afraid someone else might succeed in courting her before he does (Makes sense as he is so busy) and that taking their time to know each other is him showing her his sincerity. I think it's really sweet and quite a tradional way of thinking. Back in the day, people had arranged marriages with strangers. You had to learn to compromise and accept your parter as they were. I think it's really sweet that he is so confident in his choice that he is not worried at all that they could NOT be compatible. He is also very self aware and honestly tells her that there will be times where he will not have time for her because he has chosen to become a doctor.

LOL, our Delulu is strong. They act sweet = They are together. They speak harsh to each other = They are so close they must be together. They ignore each other = They must not want to draw attention, they are together. Anything they do=they must be together! This is all fun to analyse as I really do hope he can find someone special. I've watched every episode of him on Hello Saturday and I think he is a lovely person and would be a very sweet parter to someone. Hopefully at the right time with the right person, he will not be as busy and find a good balance in his life. Hope the time will come where C-Entertainment does not condemn an Actor/Actress because they are married or have a real life love interest. Liu ShiShi has been a good example recently. Married and has a Son. Recenlty aired drama is amazing and has a side romance plot but does not feel weird. A talented actor/actress will allow their Works to speak rather than relying on fanatical fans that don't want their 'idols' to be with someone.
