I love Hee-sik's interactions with the rest of his DIU team. I really wish that was a bigger focus in this drama rather than the subplots on the other members of the family.
I've never watched the original drama so I'm enjoying this a lot. I'll finish this first then watch the original, definitely a concept that I'm surprisingly interested in
I agree with other people here that characters of this drama are suddenly acting out of character, it's breaking…
Well to be fair, with Jung's illness, in last week's episode they placed an obsessive amount of emphasis on his poor diet + lifestyle (fast food burgers, instant iced coffee, constantly on edge because of work) -- I think that was leading up to the point that he essentially has worked himself to death, and will probably serve as a plot point for FL (or one of the other attorneys) to reconsider their career path not just for their own health, but for the happiness of themselves and the ones around them. They have a lot to fit in for the next two episodes if they wanna clear up everything, so hopefully they're super long episodes!
If they're going on with this romance between MW and SY, I hope at the very least this is just so SY can convince MW to stop pursuing WYW and her mother
Actually, maybe her mother I don't really care but he gotta stop beefing with WYW
FL's mother deserves everything that's coming for her. This was a perfect opportunity to fix issues and move on together, but instead she's too scared about public opinion and only thinking about herself, willing to sacrifice her daughter for it. No sympathy from me
I'm struggling to find any justification for FL's mom. Sure, when she was young she may have been pressured to…
I get what you're saying, but I think the end of this episode was just as a set up for the rest of the series. Throughout the series so far the FL's mother was impressed by her skills as an attorney, and adding onto the fact that she's now found out she's the mother, maybe now she's realised that she turned out to be such a great person but she had no part of that. I wouldn't be surprised if future episodes have her struggling on determining what's more important - her political career, or her daughter who's likewise a great attorney.
Actually, maybe her mother I don't really care but he gotta stop beefing with WYW
