Did not like this for different reason-cold not watch the FL. Skipped her scenes and only finished it to see what…
I kinda liked her personality, but I think her background wasn't well built. The stalker thing and some illogical attitudes in the process made her plot a little unconvincent...
The only thing there was too much for me was the ultimate cliche of "met each other in childhood." I really don't buy this cliche, because is very unreasonable and doesn't affect anything in the story for me. I think the story of the drama ends in episode 14 and the last ones were just this forced cliche being thrown in our faces. Did I hate it? No. Did I think cute the connexion with the dog? A little bit. But yet, was an unnecessary thing for me. Also the grandma's death. I understand that she was sick and old, and the conclusion with her seeing everything in its place... But still. I thought it was just another punch to put more tears in the end. These things made me take a half point of this drama, but I'm still in love with everything, and is one of my favorites now for sure!
Everything happened as we predict since the beginning. When Ha Jin remembers everything, her reaction was exactly what I thought would be, so I didn't have any surprises, but I confess that the tenacity of Jung Hoon surprised me. I thought he would be disturbed, but I loved his posture. I saw some people saying that he couldn't forget Seo Young, but I think that everything was perfect. He didn't forget her (he couldn't), but he understood that couldn't keep the same feeling for someone that already gone. This is emotional maturity for me (the psychologist goes crazy, LOL). What made me bored was the sudden broke up between him and Ha Jin when the people started to talk about them. After so many obstacles, was as Ha Jin just ignored everything that happened, and that they talked. And the super cliche combo of time skip plus move abroad was also very cheesy to me. Guys, you can't be resolved your lives quickly in the same place? What is it about the USA that everyone goes to heal the broken heart? u_u
But the last scene with Ha Jin just dropping the mic in the face of the reporters telling them that wanted to come back for herself, to be remembered and loved every single day, was epic! I just wanted to see the extended version with Jung Hoon asking her if she wants to marry him, just to end the cliche with all that I deserve, LOL.
Can somebody tell me if I missed something about the curse of Shin Yu? Did the hands just stop showing up?
