Not just crusty he seems greasy too. His favouritism to Nanrui is questionable. I get it he has his beloved child, but at least choose someone who is capable and has heroic trait,but this Nanrui - is like a submissive dog that he can control easily.

Im so convinced with Nanheng's tragic childhood story tbh. That father emperor's favouritism pissed me off tbh. I get angry everytime he appears on my screen, i taptaptap many times. Guihong reminiscent his childhood with Nanheng tbh moved me a bit but not entirely. This guy is full of tricky moves.

Finally, Nanheng has somewhat confessed his pent-up heart2heart talk with Meng,h e is so misunderstood character it even took Meng's by surprise, it feels like he finally finds someone to share with.
