i think he already has a slight feeling when they were in Busan. but it was contrary to his principle,he doesn't want to get tangled between love and career especially in the workplace.

I think the confusion lies more on Soonrok,he deliberately set the boundaries between private and work life.Yumi, has experienced failures in romance, I don't think she expects much of their relationship. When Soonrok thinks that Yumi doesnt like him anymore, that where his liking begins. Yumi has a pride to keep, of course she has her own insecurities especially with their age gap. Soonrok is clueless and blind date is a pure excuse for him to not falling to Yumi but it backfired him. Hahaha.
