I think gwanshik's death was so cruel and unfair to his character. yes i know this is a drama and slice of life. i know sometimes unfortunately people die of cancer, but honestly, after everything they've been through couldn't they just let him enjoy his life? grow old with aesun see her become a popular poet and teacher do something that he liked. maybe he could buy an expensive car or go on trips overseas with aesun. enjoy his children and grandchildren making their own families like damn. i felt so bad for him gwanshik has been through so much and when his life was finally doing well he got sick?? in my mind the drama ended on ep 15 where everyone was doing well and happy lol

i think they should have named this drama when life gives you tears instead bc i think this is the first drama where i've cried this much in so many eps T..T also finally watching a new drama where i didn't feel bored or felt like a chore to finish the last eps. most 2024 dramas sucked or got boring towards the last eps yk (i havent watched a lot of 2025 ones so i cant say for this year yet but when life gives you tangerines is definitely one of the best of this year im sure. i do have one tiny complaint however...

Reply 1988 is definitely similar (though it focuses more on youth and it isn't as angsty imo) it's still nice; it includes retro setting, slice of life, family drama, youth etc

also i like this drama so far, but its lowkey pissing me off that people are calling the ML weird for having an interest/hobby like girl, what's wrong with liking a rock band or liking video games/anime etc?? you can be a functional adult with a normal life and still like those things too! it's not that deep omg

ever since they played Stay by NELL on the first ep i've been listening to it non-stop lol i must thank this drama for introducing me to this song <3 (i already knew about NELL because of BTS Suga but yeah this song is totally my style!)

it's okay to not be okay is one of my fave, top 5 kdramas. and now it's ruined bc of KSH... i wasn't even a huge fan i think i've watched like 3 of his dramas? but it still feels so weird damn poor saeron

sign of affection was pretty fast paced and was overall pure fluff and barely any angst, so if they ever adapted this i believe it'd be best to turn it into a movie instead. a series would make it longer and change things (probably add more drama/angst etc especially if it was a kdrama lol you know kdrama writers love unnecessary drama!)

Nevertheless deserves better! Idk why people hate it so much because i really enjoyed it. Not only did it give us a nice art college setting but also a fresh story with main leads that had great chemistry (the side couples were also so fun!) like ok the ML was a bit of a red flag but who cares, that's the point of the drama anywayy??

I started to get a little bored after ep 13 but overall I quite enjoyed watching this drama :-) I especially loved the scenes with Dr. cha and Patient Giseok they were like father and son to me idk they had good chemistry as family to me 🥹

i've been watching around 7 episodes so far and i like it but Heejo surviving that fall from that cliff was so unrealistic lmaoo it's not possible for any human to survive such a high fall and not getting hurt at all like at least they could have made her get into surgery or in a coma to make it more sense? she barely got any scratches or some mild bleeding ,,? couldnt they come up with something else to harm Heejo
