I'm really perplexed by some of the comments here. You can watch the series for free as long as you sign up for…
Right?! They’re complaining about subscription based platform with a free trial when one of the “top” BLs out there has blatant cash grab gimmick of $10 per episode pay-per-view.

I liked it but not enough to pay to see the rest. There's so much other stuff to watch that's free. (And you don't…
It’s also free on YouTube, albeit an episode behind. Plus it’s not like you have to pay $50 for all the episodes like some shows out there.

If you liked the first episode, then you’re definitely going to love show, it just keeps getting better from there.

One of the good things about this show is that even with a great start, it just keeps ramping up.

It's a contraction for Architecture student, as for the mentioned BL actors, the writer is a BL fan.

Agreed, shows like these are the antithesis of GsP. They're the epitome of the "gays are nothing but slaves to their sexual desires" stereotype the show has been trying so hard to break.

She made it loud and clear that she's a sister first before anything else. She addressed what she thought was a problem the way one would with a typical couple. The entire confrontation was just as important as Santi's conversation with Vlad, it made him realize that he may never be able to give Vlad what he truly deserves. It wasn't about his sexuality, while it may entail just that, Judit was just mostly pointing out what Vlad would be wanting from him once they're official, he wants someone who can be proud of him, someone who wouldn't deny him as his ex did.

Tbh if it were my siblings I'd step in too if I think they're not getting what they deserve in a relationship. And it wasn't even totally her fault that Karl freaked out as he appeared to have forgotten about what she said after he saw everything Vlad did for him, it's what everyone would think of them that made him react the way he did.

Title Like in the Movies Spoiler
The last episode just ruined it for me. I hated the way the brother-sister duo ganged up on Karl, like give him…
I've already said this once so I'll just copy and paste it:

People seem to be taking the whole thing in the gazebo at face value. Yes, it was all originally intended to help Karl accept himself, to invite him outside, but the entire conversation with Santi made Vlad realize that it's not for him to decide when Karl should come out, and for that, he called it off. We all know it's too late for that. Skip to after they kissed, Karl's in panic, visibly confused and concerned about what people might think of them, scolding Vlad for telling Santi that there's something between them. Then painful reality sinks in, Karl hasn't fully accepted him yet. What was originally an invitation to come out became a question of whether Karl likes him or not. He asked Karl if he's gay, alluding to his actual question 'Do you like me?' to which Karl answered 'I don't know.' It's not how Karl refuses to come out that ticked him off, it's the realization that Karl might not feel as strongly for him. As for Judit's confrontation, I think it was all a misunderstanding. She's been waiting all day for them to come clean since the moment they met outside Karl's apartment, dropping hints that she already knows and that she's just waiting for Karl to tell her himself, but the last straw was when Karl slapped Vlad's hand at the dinner table, it gave her the impression that he's embarrassed by how attentive Vlad is towards him, and that he won't be able to reciprocate Vlad's affection, she felt like she had to intervene.

People should pay more attention to the smallest details and put themselves in the characters' shoes.

There are still people complaining that Vlad was coming on too strong, that he was forcing Karl come out. He wasn’t, Judit said he’d go back in just to protect Karl, Vlad confirmed it himself when he called everything off with Anna but Karl saw it so he had no choice. He thought they were on the same page with the status of their relationship so yes, it was originally intended to help him come out but the moment he saw Karl freak out because of how people would think of them he had to assure himself that they really were on the same page. He wasn’t asking Karl to come out, he just wanted to hear it from him, that he feels the same way about him.

Ughhhhh, those toxic fans of this show, please PLEASE! BE RESPECTFUL to the opinion of other people who've watched…
Wouldn't it be better if you said this on relevant posts instead of making a new one? This way, you'd be addressing everyone involved. What you're doing does nothing but bring up something people have already either ignored or moved on from. This only makes you a sanctimonious instigator looking to rile everyone up against people you think are toxic, failing to realize that passive aggression is just as bad if not worse. It's as Vlad said, if you hate someone, be upfront.

As I said, I wouldn't say what you felt was fake, and this show's emphasis (being gay) is clearly different from where you feel a connection to. Okay, fine I apologize if you felt attacked in any way. I still stand by what I said, not being able to relate to a show because it wasn't made to cater to you doesn't make it overrated.

I know, and I’m explaining why the show is the way it is. So far most of those who responded are people who quickly jumped to their defenses because a term they deem offensive has been used, ignoring the point I made and those who argue without fully understanding what has been said. I won’t respond kindly to people like them.

That’s more like you got carried away by how the actors conveyed their emotions. I wouldn’t say that everything you felt was fake, as I don’t really remember much of the 10 episodes I’ve seen of Gameboys, but the struggles of being gay are more than just that, and to use it to justify your logic that you can relate to everything gays have been through as a straight woman because a scene made you cry is just absurd. This show is the closest to an epitome of what gays have experienced. If you can't relate to it, it isn't because the show is bad, it's because you haven't been there yourself.

Idiots are ignoring the point, you’re all blowing the fujoshi term out of proportion. She so clearly suggested that the show is overrated because she can’t relate to it then I said she can’t because it wasn’t made for people of her gender. You people need to work on your reading comprehension.

If you think the people you were pertaining to would relate to the show differently than I have, what makes you think they can relate with shows written by people clueless of their struggles?
