unrealistic opening, I can hardly feel male lead presence or feel if he is a ML, I am into 20 minutes of 1st episode and it is noting extraordinary. This was expected, but ML coming to action is not as same of the other firefighting series.
I don't like doctor, he is just being there, saying nothing annoys me. And what the hell with those sneaky smile? I know he means no harm, but he sometimes seems freaky as fuck.

1- Both series FL has different jobs and purpose of moving to countryside also under different circumstances. FL of HTCC lost her job and forced to open clinic when she was outcast from her job in Seoul. While FL of MY lost her friend and she was recuperating from her loss and not doing any job there for profits or career.
2- Both series ML has different style, stories, background and purpose. HTCC ML had one of the worst, most useless and pathetic background story to make him look guilty, and ML of MY is like 360 opposite no connection whatsoever, he was happy, inspiring, caring and had deep care for people he loved.
3-Setting of series is different, HTCC is a seaside countryside, while MY is mountain countryside.
4-Both series side characters, their stories, interactions and setting is like nowhere near close to each other.
In short, MY was 100% better than HTCC, and thats the only reason haters are saying this.
The comment below scared me, but I kind of expected this kind of ending. I hope they change the ending in series adaptation as she really deserves peace as well as companionship.
one of the most realistic scene in EP7 when every "nay" voice echoes in her ears and in rage she stood on a table and looked at every face as if she was about to give a warning, and the music entails, and then suddenly stops and she didn't say anything, as her grandfather advise echoed....this was so beautiful...plus the reunion with her old friend....
this is very beautifully imagined and directed series.
this is very very very different series, it is not usual school story, the direction and writing is impeccable, and the scenes of FL meeting her younger self all of sudden when she is in trouble is not common in CN TV/Film industry, very beautifully done....one of best CN series in 2023.
I am so proud of BYF, he did a daring film, that could have ended his career, but he took step by step to become ML of CN industry. He is just skin and bones, gain some mass xiongdi. His is as always flawless in his acting.
