I get that the ML cut ties with ex randomly, she has right to be this angry I guess. But they should have a talk and ML should be clear their relationship not reparable. If ML feels guilty than it is not fair of FL, if ML can cut ties with his ex for his problems, then he should be man enough o put a stop to her.
It may be a simple love story for others...but after Go Ahead, this was one of the best C-drama.
The ending was perfection, I had tears in my eyes seeing LX happy because of ZY.
ZY is one of the best character written in C-drama land, smart, intelligent, kind, loyal, unhinged, captivating, supporting, benefactor, saviour, light in darkness.
ZY was a SUN to LX, who could only shine by the reflection of ZY.
Writing, pacing, and actors acting was subtle, believable and mesmerizing.
People say this is cliché, typical and story told thousands time.

You might run your brain and among thousands you will only be able to find one or two that match the standard of outstanding storytelling.
We are Asian people, proud and very much emotional and relies heavily on familial bonds, sacrifices and still believe in fairy tale love.
This story tells you two people in love who lost track of times but never forgot each other, eventually finding their way back.
If it was SK show, or other show they would have added much stereotypical melodrama, but JP added very subtle classic recipe of love that was free of toxicity, angst, unjust and not so out of the line.
I loved the production; they made past sequence in such aesthetics that looked like it was a past. They transitioned to present with equally beautiful editing and pace.
Also, strangely and very oddly the leads had very few dialogues, and it was not noticeable. I realised later after watching. But they managed to hook up on screen, and that is a hard work of director.
And if you feel distant or disconnected to series sometimes, then don’t worry it is a typical JP side effect. In every JP content, who is not accustomed to their culture will always feel a sudden push.
The English song perhaps because of Netflix as distributor, but the song itself had English in between words, and was a mega hit in 1999 when came out and it was a new era of pop culture in entire world and not just Asia.
This series will be in memory for a long time. And winter will always make me remember that a naive, hot-headed guy fell in love with a kind, smart and innocent girl, and he kept her in his blood, body and memory even though the road leading to each other was snowy, long and rough.

It is a very balanced series in terms of writing, they are equally focusing on both leads, first 20 episodes they had FL and her family and her career but from 21st the series is taking a very natural turn to ML stories and his past incident.
OMG coming trailers wasn't enough that a bitch girl in office tryin to rope him. Why they create such bitch face characters who has no self morality or dignity whatsoever.
Also at one point his ex also gonna come, why she is listed above in cast, she hasn't appeared yet, so she is a minor supporting character.
