I hope JJY won't be dirty and she accepts that ADB don't want to live the life of genius and eh doesn't push him without his consent. if she likes ML, she should say already, but if she is gonna flip on FL, she is too petty to do that.
A person always has a sixth sense of a person they like about whether they like them back or not. She sure does know ADB doesn't like her and see her as ear friend only.
I know drama hasn't turned into love story as of yet, but it is going that way, if not intense.
So I hope this series doesn't bring heavy love stuff, as many other issues are pending in a 12 episodic series.
ps. I have always wanted to know from Korean people (I have some experience of office culture myself, thats why I hate several aspects of Korean society) that such level of poisonous tongue, the hatred, the glare full of fire, and words that cut your heart in million pieces, are often spoken by everyone? Of all the SEA countries dramas here on MDL only K series are such where cruelty of oppressor goes to extreme level to hurt the person they want.
Whoever did the editing on their intimate scene in last episode, should he doesn't''y same to main couple. Their some seconds bed scene was so sexy and hot, way better than main CP actually.
The writing for main CP was so bad, actors were not at fault, James don't know how to act, but still it was writing that made them look worse.
Prince and Gear story isn't worth a separate series, they truly shines as a side couple. And in midst of so much black they get to shine.
15 min of first episode and now I am already irritated. Guys, is this series good? is it worthy to watch?
First 2 episodes are shaky....but it gets better suddenly by third. Their chemistry suddenly improved and they managed to carried the show. Story is typical but their chem is what what the show, specially from 5-6-7 show became really good, 8th is going to come today with heart break but it will be resolved quickly since it is last episode.
The only person I wish they could have recast to make it perfect was Torn character...actor did an amazing job, but even though main couple was shaky, Tae did much better job with Tupfah than Saur did with Torn, or perhaps it is writing fault but let me tell you, all of this is covered by two side couple, their moments, and presence was worthy every scene.
Also I didn't disliked main couple, they somehow in their endless push and pull, managed to push the viewer away. However, they did have chemistry, not as much as other two couples but I felt it, don't know about others.
I mean for a 4 episode, there is too much drama, they should have kept it light hearted, but they made it sad plus bitch conflicts.
I am all up for no romance as well, but for 4 episodes, you are adding:
unrequited love, misunderstanding, celebrity downfall, illness, death, bitch people, jalouse SFL. and a fucking separation, when there ship hasn't even sailed yet.
I mean was it really worthy. in my opinion not so much.
It clearly says first love that goes all the way 1999 to 2018. What cliche's are you talking about?
If a setting was in present and story had such elements I would have agreed on that.
But it was past, and it shouldn't be called cliches, it should be considered, "classic" love story.
Cliche represents an idea that lacks imagination or innovation.
This is a simple love story with no misunderstanding but fate playing games with them.
FL didn't lied, ML didn't lied, but it was a natural flow of story and occurances between them.
There isn't a single moment cringy, overbearing, boring or where I feels, that plot is being overused.
The story, the emotions, the writing, the depth, the acting, the complexity, the direction, the special effects, background score, background music, and the 2 SONGS on which this series is based, is executed breathtakingly. I don't know where the problem is?
A plot used over and over again, still requires imagination on how to make it new, and this series just does that. Period.
EP8 was a rare sight to see someone saying those wise words to someone they love truly but also want to make them come to senses and be responsible for their feelings.
One of the best, one of a kind, breathtaking in every aspect.
One of the best winter show in a long long time.
The direction, the acting, the faces, the cinematography, and above the very basis of this series the SONG - its magical, just magical.
I am from a place where foreign exposure is not much, but I heard this song back in 2000 and it scored on my memory, twenty-years after they made a series that resonated with a song so beautifully that every episode was worth rewarding.
Gosh, Takeru is indeed the actor of JP and what can I say about Hikari, with such elegance she played Yae.
It is literally the best career role of XK. He did more that he could to become Yang Hua, fanfuckingtastic acting and it suits him the most. He overpowered Yangmi, I mean he swallowed her in terms of performance.

This drama is not set in modern main storyline.

It was damn good.

Breathtaking, sublime and supreme!
I am not a toxic fan. So that a difference between me and you.
