I am fine with no episode airing. But i felt it was nessarry to details his past life in full length 2 episodes. It could have been revealed with every episode little by little.

All people who has hearing loss later in life, adolescence or as a full adult, choose their own way to live independently. This includes their desire not to speak, because words spoken from their mouth won't reach their ears, and will never have impact what it had before.
For example Marlee Matlin, a famous actress had Post-lingual deafness at 18. Since then she choose not to speak, thus resulting in difficult speech. I have seen her speaking but hearing loss had impacted her speech.
Thus is because adult hearing loss is significantly associated with decreased speech comprehension. The understanding of emotions, feelings and meaning behind the words being spoken can't reach to deaf community. Which leads to stains relationships, daily life activity and severely effect their speech, which prevents them to speak indefinitely.
Director Kobayashi said, he cried many times while filming the series. So after the last 5 minutes of first episode, I was shocked what had happened and now understand what is coming.
As I never read novel of this classic story, I wasn't prepared whats coming. But first episode was strangely good but not tragic, until the last minutes of episode. You could never guess what was coming.
It was very clear, how Koichi fell for Oumi the moment their eyes met, and hoe protective and caring was he for Oumi.
"I built a wall around me since childhood. He came and built a keyless door. And he stood there to guard that door" - Oumi.
I love that dialogue, simple. profound and acknowledgement of someone pure efforts.
I won't spoil...but if he who came to him while he was a flesh, turns to soul and vanishes for others but only to him he exist forever, then I will literally be very very very sad.
He taught Oumi how to walk again, and if it turns otherwise, I should get ready for tissues.

I said "...just like that" meaning she left the stage in a way that made people talk bad about her. She should shame the person responsible and then should have left.
Such humiliation she suffered was not her fault, why she should take it alone.

Then I would slap the bitch who came with good intention.

And the chef is whole other level of dog, like his personality is even worse then a worse living thing out-there. I want to throw him in gutter and have him stay there for atleast half a day to let him know he smelled and looked a poop.
I will never call her a mom. It is disrespectful to give this title to her.
I sound cruel, heartless, right? but being mother doesn't entitle anyone to give free pass, just because she is a mom.
Her madness and greed, drove her son to abyss, and she came back to deliver the news of her pregnancy and ask for forgiveness.
You may marry, have child or live well, but you don't get to have forgiveness from those you drove to insanity and ultimate death.
And stop understanding people more than they deserve, this fake consideration in real life as well as in fantasy is killing the real kindness a person can do to actually save the person from committing crime or harm to others.
