I am not a fan of both of them. So there is no biases to begin with, first understand this.
What I have said was totally based on an actors ability to keep me engaged through out the show. Writing matters, but to turn those words into something that audience like, matters the most. And this series LSY has me in complete trans but that doesn't mean I am dissing or comparing LSG, lol there is nothing to compare.
LSG an LSY are pretty well known actors Korea, neither of them less than the other. Both have solid acting career, no one is rookie here.
For me this series hits the most as FL has power to outdone evil people and she can do so on her own. Of course a story is never complete without ML and his help. But FL should be fierce, strong and crazy enough, that ML don't have to worry about her.
LSG is a great actor, singer, and entertainer, but a drama like this is based on novel, and novel FL is the main character, even though ML is there but she is the arch type of story so she is doing exactly what she should done as a character. So thinking I am comparing both of them, lol, it simply not true.
She is engaging me throughout the series up-till now and that I don't have to look for to her characters, including ML, because she is that interesting. That was my point.
Not so much impressing, a typical Bl, but I am not looking for it to be nominated for Palme d'Or or Oscar, so for me it does a job of giving me lovely vibe. Lots os romance coming, as Ai is hooked and h never going let Nahi anywhere...also whole family is bunch of gays, so no FL meddling or evilish stuff...

Venenzo was the first actual Korean series, that never let bad boys win, and this is going in same direction, although real villain hasn't started yet, but she is winning and biting everyone who comes her way.
