Well I don't mid either how she lives or what her style is, it is her business...but as an actor she should think that this voice doesn't suit as a character. So she should at-least try to change for a character. In a personal life or capacity I dare say anything or comment.
I love a couple like Xu Wang and Rong Rong. One is sad, quite, and hurt while the other is warm, kind, good, oblivious to evil, they just make a very low key standout couple.
The way Xu Wang spoke to Rong Rong in 16th episode out of his own sadness and misery speaks volumes of how much he is hurt but can't do anything, and Rong Rong, my queen despite being bit by his words, she knows he meant nothing and hurt and she backed him off so well. My gosh bith are gem. Like innocent, pure gems. They are very similar to Jin Xioa and Chen Zui of Lovely Us.
Actor should always do their job of what it is required in script as they are playing a characters and not themselves. Refusing to do what is the core part of something, is not an honest job.
He can do whatever he want but not romance if there is no intimate touch physically, refused by an actor. I am not being materialistic here, or want NC scenes or love scenes, but a normal romance series. There are many other series he can do where romance is not required.
Although many romance series doesn't necessarily required kissing scene to prove there is a romance, but those are made like that, no question whatsoever, but any romance work done by this persons, will always have me think otherwise, as he is the one who put the condition.
Never going to watch a series from a person who is not dedicated to their work.
In personal life whoever they are I don't care, but a character is not their personal property, it is made for audience, and audience has full right to demand criticise and voice their opinion, for something unreasonable. (at this point him not kissing his costars are irrelevant)

this series is too strange as well as aloof, as well as cute. Both actors are not only cute but gem as well. This series scriptwriting is oddly satisfying.
