I don't know in Thai culture how close relationship between "friends" are, but certainly no normal friend sleeps the way Eiw and Cake sleeps and care for each other.

It is very obvious that both has unacknowledged feelings, while Eiw has already accepted his feelings and he is already validated by his sister, so he is clear. The problem is with Cake, he is making Eiw confuse and signaling wring with right intention and bating an eye on his own feelings. This is a usual "Theory of Love" type situation, when Eiw will finaly move on adn start to slip from Cake hands, he will run after him.

Also, Sand is a very shady guy, he is a free loader with not so good intention, and Eiw gonna get super hurt. Sand knows Eiw is as pure as first drop of dew. When Cake will warn Eiw, this will cause rift between them before becoming everything normal.

So it is a long journey with a slow progress in story and 1 episode is not enough seriously.
