Jerry suffered too much in this entire relationship.
Damien business, life, previous marriage matters most but not Jerry’s
He left his cooking channel videos to support Kai. He went through humiliation.
He became home dad for their child, he cooks, clean and take care of the children.
He had to put up with Damien secret child and he had to adjust.
He had to bear humiliation when Damien ex-visited and had to compromise on everything.
In the end Jerry gave up, he wanted to have one more child, but refused and give up for Damien
He welcomed everything in his life for Damien.
Jerry is bottom, so he is supposed to duck in, comprise, and always give up for Damian
Now Jerry has a career break and going everything well, things fell for Damien and without thinking how Jerry would feel, he blatantly asked to compromise.
And now this shit, when Damien will realized that he always put Jerry second and when things go south he comes saying sorry.
I am too disappointed for such stereotypical and unbalanced relationship.
No hate at all towards Kim Go Eun, I always like her roles and the dramas she acts in, but I find that a lot of…
Yes exactly, I said here in my comments before, that even if she is playing different roles, she is given this hippie look where she looks exact the same. Like the clumsy, innocent, oblivious, and casual clothing.
She needs to do a role, where she is able to emotions of sadness, and oppression, some melodramatic role I guess would change our opinion.
I am her fan since her pre-Goblin days, but even though her roles are diverse, she has given typecast elements in those diverse roles, thus looking exactly the same.
I mean this series, her character if serious, cold and blatant, would have been more suitable, but as always even series like this she is playing innocent, smiling foolishly and conned by other and oblivious to evil.
date line reference is great, when he says about people living in past and other side living in present is not wring, literally crossing the date to east decreases a day and crossing west to the line increases a day.
the drama action is beautiful, it has wide angle photography probably it has 33mm or 16mm, that gives us the film look and not television.
everything is character driven and dialogue leading to the hidden truth is slowly rising up, obvious as it is, sometime secret that is wide open to everyone is still a secret waiting to come to light and it is equally fun and thrilling to find out.
I am disgusted by ML, but thats given, and also, they are purposely making SML going in wrong direction she she can misunderstood to be with ML.
But FL is too lenient with ML, she should give him harsh words and hard time, so his arrogance goes down, every time he realises his mistakes he become more shameless as he knows what kind of peron FL is. And his kissing her should come with slap, but FL ducks in with innocence, that was wrong on her part.
I am not sure, how but ML need to learn manners and his mistake before he pursue FL, don't know why after all the littering it is always FL who understands and ducks in.
I wanna curse and kick ML so bad, before I could forgive him.
this series is not an adaptation of Little Women, those four sisters worked really hard to get the life they wanted, while these three are nothing like that. You say it is an adaptation of the appendix of the novel, if there were any, just like previously Lost had similarities with Osamu Dezai book, No Longer Human. So don't be mistaken.
But the series is a straight 9 for me, after a long time, I am able to give 9 ratings just by first episode. Reasons are very simple:
1) in a very rare case two leading actresses are working together a very fresh take, 2) despite a drama it has thriller element with good plot, 3) acting is top notch, each actor has a gripping story yet to unfold to put the missing pieces together 4) they managed to blend drama and mild-thriller in a very subtle and good way 5) All three actresses are flawed in their life, and living as best as they can without being humble 6) of the thee FL second one has alcoholic issues, a very surprise element to see in a FL, and she appears to be normal yet she is an alcoholic, and being an alcoholic you don't have to have a hard life as a main reason, and her reason of alcoholic isn't their poverty or hard life, it just she is alcoholic.
I love how Go Eun is always Go Eun, she is a very distinctive FL of Korea, I wish I could see her in a role who wears dresses, makeup, and one of those FL leads and not just casual wear all the time, just like in all of her previous series.
I love first episode, and i know i am not going to be disappointed. But the writer has a knack of not making lead end-up together by the end of series so theres that. Also director of this series is successful in all of her previous series, so not worried. I just hope people watch it.
Gosh this series is such a treasure. Writer previous work of Mother and Handmaiden speaks volume of her understanding of dialogues and people setting in different timelines, and settings.
From the first 10 minutes you can already see this is going to stand among the likes of Reply series and other classic series that are just dialogues and actings at it best.
people complaining abut the rapid progress of their relationship, actually cursed this series,. four episode left, and we yet to see the love fully accepted and admitted.

one of the best series from Thailand.
But FL is too lenient with ML, she should give him harsh words and hard time, so his arrogance goes down, every time he realises his mistakes he become more shameless as he knows what kind of peron FL is. Usually two leading ladies working in a same drama is very rare in K-drama, either they have guest roles or they are opposite to each other.
Seeing Go Eun and Ji Hyun sitting together in first seen, felt like a different experience.
